Very fun, scenic course for a good price. Some greens and fairways need work but everything is playable. Some holes are very challenging. I'll be back at some point.

I dont understand why this course is not rated higher on google.... it is a fantastic challenge. One if not the hardest course i have played on the illinois side of st.louis. the views alone are worth the price of admission. I can not wait to get the boys together to go back. Greens were top notch and tough n fast!!! Lots of break on these greens !

Had not played this course in over ten plus years. Last time I played it, it was still a nine hole course. They did a great job with the expansion. Some of the views from the new layout are awesome . A couple of the tee boxes were blotchy and a couple of greens had some bad spots. But with the spring weather we have had, not in bad shape at all. Will definitely be going back this year.

Course is in great shape but BE FOREWARNED they are very very very relaxed with pace of play and stack tee times up. Be prepared for a 5 hour and 30 min round if you play on the weekend. Our 2some had a 8:40 a.m. tee time and there was a group of 12 in front of us taking their very sweet time. I recommended they pick up their pace and they heckled back at us with snide remarks. I would recommend a marshall or worker enforcing pace of play to prevent early tee times from playing 5 and 1/2 hours per round.

I don't even know where to start on this review. I would give 0 out of 5 stars if I could. The only reason I am writing this review is to warn other golfers who have not played this course to never come here.

This course is in shambles... Gravel parking road (no parking lot) no practice green or place to warm up. One of the worst course designs on the front 9 that I have ever seen. I can't tell you how many balls I hit in the middle of the fairway that ended up rolling off the fairway into the woods/ random water canals that were about a foot off the fairway in the rough due the crazy amount of slope. I think it was like hole 5 or something that had about a 10-yard-wide, tree lined tee shot that I had to hit through to get to a fairway that sloped left right into a drainage ditch. Lost my ball after a great tee shot and about walked off the course right there.

Most fairways looked like they hadn't been watered in months due to amount of dust and dirt that covered most of the ground where grass should be. Not to mention just about every green would have a massive dirt hole where I guess they removed part of the green to fix a dead spot? However, it looks like they just gave up on fixing it and left it as a mini green bunker.... Tee boxes were awful and might only be mowed once a week. I couldn't even tee up my ball on the par 3s because of how high the grass was so I ended up playing a tee shot from "the rough". The golf carts barely even worked and looked like they got them used from a garage sale.

Only redeeming element was the Back 9 as I would give it close to 2 stars as it was flatter and actually looked like more of a golf course. Other than that, don't play this course. Easily the worse course I have played the St. Louis area and I have played Riverside and Oak Valley.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS PLACE.

Terrible service. I called and placed a tee time June, 24th @ 4:11pm. When we arrived to check in I was told a tee time was never placed. I showed them a timestamp of my phone call and I was told it didn’t matter. My group drove 35 minutes to play here as we have many times before. Never again!!!!!!

Played on the Saturday before Father’s Day and the course was overbooked. I saw people waiting for carts and the pace of play was at least 5 to 5 and a half hours for 18. My friends and I only played the front 9 of our 18 and glad we did because the back 9 looked even more backed up. Other than that, it’s a good course for the price.
