My wife scheduled to have family pictures done here on Nov 10. It was our 1st time here and it was really nice. You can tell who ever is in charge of maintaining it takes pride in what they do. The bridges were cool that crossed the streams along with the rocks to hop across the stream with the kids as well. Highly recommend fall pictures done anywhere here as the trees change color it makes an amazing scenery. The hiking trails are all groomed and easy for everyone to traverse. Get a chance stop by and go explore.

Coal Hollow Park has a wealth of trails through many unique plant communities. The tallgrass prairie parcel is well maintained.

Very beautifully well maintained park away from the city noise. Love taking the kids to hike, picnic, or creek stomp! This park could be improved by adding public restrooms and a play area, but there is still a porta-potty option and room to invent your own play!

This is a newer park. The trails are interesting.. They seem to be unfinished and need some work. There is a lack of direction ON the trails..
I enjoyed walking on them. The land is beautiful. There is a peaceful flowing brook. Wildlife like deer, squirrels, birds, etc. However, we ended up walking around a cornfield and barn and weren't sure if we were supposed to be there..😬😅
There is a lot of potential for some amazing trails. I can't wait to see what improvements are made throughout the years. I will definitely come back and take some pictures to post.

Some of the trails were to overgrown to explore. Otherwise, it was nice and I saw some rare birds. Doggie and I enjoyed the lack of crowds. A lovely walk through the woodlands is our favorite thing.

Really good local hiking spot. I usually can get through all of the trails in less than 2 hours and it is easy to get too. They offer a couple trails with a fair incline, and a couple that are flat, so its good to go on a quick walk, or if you want to work out. I usually come here at least once a week because its peaceful and there arent usually a lot of people there.
