We came here cause it's Monday and no where else is open. Ordering online was convenient and quick, loved having that option. Upon arriving, the dining room was dirty, looked like a general storage area for them too.
My card was ran and the lady at the counter went right back to her phone.

Steamed dumplings were so so.
Orange chicken was sweet, rice was fine. general tso's chicken tasted like the orange chicken minus the oranges. Was not what I was hoping for after spending $55.
We are missing lo mein, it's on my receipt, but my friend was telling me about how they were pretty rude last time she was missing something and I have anxiety issues so I just won't be going back. 🤷

Excellent food. The dining room could use a little updating, but again the food was very good. Staff also seemed nice and friendly. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend.

Changing my review after a terrible experience. They made the wrong order and didn’t even refund the full amount after we gave them back the product. No wonder they are doing terribly! This is how they treat loyal customers of many years. Clueless staff and ownership. They lost future orders and respect by being cheap over a couple dollars.

Since new ownership, some things are still good or better, some things I don’t recommend anymore.

Recommend: mei fun, egg rolls, dumplings, crab Rangoon
Don’t recommend: steamed dishes
On the fence: chicken teriyaki, beef dishes, fried shrimp

The young woman working the counter was very pleasant. She even offered us a 2 liter soda for our large takeout order. That is a new offering since they’ve changed owners. My mother said mei fun was best ever and she ordered it all the time under the previous ownership. Egg rolls were good too and didn’t seem to change much since new owner. Fried dumplings were great! Or maybe I was just hungry for them. 🤤 They gave extra dumpling sauce, too, though we didn’t ask for it. Maybe it was a fluke. 🤷🏻‍♀️ However, the steamed vegetables were way undercooked. For $9-10 an entree this was not ideal. They were inedible. Only other complaint was the wait time during a couple of our visits. We had to wait about 15 mins MORE than originally expected/told for our order. It’s okay that it took a while to make they just needed to give us a better estimate for when it would be ready and then we could plan better.

I do wish they offered complimentary red sweet and sour with crab Rangoon or multiple egg rolls. They only seem to offer it with beef wontons and I don’t care for them anymore. Otherwise, still good food! Looking forward to coming back.

Very welcoming, clean environment and the food was very fresh, not overcooked like many do. I would expect this good of food in a much fancier restaurant.

We just purchased over $50 in food. We have bought from there many times and have always been satisfied with the quality of the food. NOT this time! We ordered General Tao chicken. No flavor, chicken was tough and hardly any sauce on the chicken. We also ordered chicken fried rice as a change. There was rice, a few pieces of pale chicken and a few pieces of what looked like onion. There wasn’t any egg, carrots, or peas like is normally found in that dish. The crab rangoon was over cooked also Needless to say after driving over 40 miles, spending over $50 we are not pleased and will never purchase from China King, Hannibal, Mo. USE THE SAME RECIPES AS THE PREVIOUS OWNERS!!

The steamed dumplings and dim sum sauce was absolutely amazing! Most times the sauce from places is too vinegary for my tastes but this one was subtle and really really good with a nice ginger kick and the dumplings were plump and juicy! Had the house special soup with it and it was packed with good ingredients with a nice rich chicken broth. The dining area is a little bit small but very clean and the staff was very kind and my order was quick. Did not eat there as had other things to do but all in all excellent experience!
