Absolutely enjoyed ourselves! I came with my aunt and cousin and we played first Bruno’s bistro! It was so much fun and the staff was wonderful! We loved it so much we returned the next day to do Potion Masters! We loved it! The hour goes by so fast and the hints are so helpful! Thanks so much for a wonderful experience! We WILL be back soon!

We finally had the opportunity to go back and do Aunt Suzy's Condo this time. I'm a little delayed in my review as it was a few weeks ago. 😉 We had another great experience. The room was well thought out and entertaining with the fun 80's music and theme. We did need some help and the staff was always so kind and professional. I'm sure we drove them nuts. We cannot wait to try the Skin Deep room next. We highly recommend Checkmate Escape Rooms!

Our second time here, our second time with Chase as our game master (he's awesome). We did Brunos Bistro, it was fun and challenging. Everyone who works here is great and the escape rooms are great. Only issue was another group there the same time as us kept leaving their room and pulling stuff off the wall in their room so the employees kept having to deal with them. I felt a little bad for the employees. We will definitely be back!!

Cannot speak more highly of the experience we had at Checkmate. We had an issue with booking and the staff was so friendly and accommodating in helping us with our problems. While there they were always attentive to our game and very quick to provide a nudge or a clue whenever we were feeling stuck. We started with Bruno's Bistro and loved it so much we decided to play Aunt Suzy's Condo as well. Both games were such a blast! Thank you, Zach and Abby for providing great customer service! We'll be back for sure!

We played Bruno’s Bistro & Suzy’s Condo, the rooms were so cool, flowed, & were very intricate with detail! The design & decor for Bistros is one of the best I’ve seen! Our game master Zac was amazing! So friendly & sweet! Can’t wait to come back and try another room!

The escape room is great. Customer service is horrendous. Very passive aggressive staff. They tell you at first you can go to the bathroom if you need to and then they treat you very aggressively and rudely when you need to go the bathroom mid escape room. They also make very rude comments about your mannerisms and decisions in the escape room. When we got out of the room the skinny spiky hair manager has the audacity to say the decisions we were making to escape the room were very unorthodox and “non escape room like” when we have never been to this place before. Being in a customer service based job, this staff needs a heck of a lot more training. I would love to be reached out to to talk about this situation because if someone else gets treated the way I did it is not a good look.

This lovely place was my first escape room experience! We did the Bistro one, and I was blown away with how my expectations weren’t just met, they were exceeded. Zach was an awesome GM who had great energy and made sure everyone had an amazing time. We will definitely be back!! If you’ve never done an escape room, I highly recommend making this place your first! It was engaging and makes for a great experience!
