What an absolute cracker of a spot. This gem is quiet, picturesque and the staff are unreal! We found this place by chance and after speaking to a few regulars we quickly worked out why it's their number 1 spot. My Princeton hot springs are only a 5 minute drive away and you can get discounted tickets if you stay at the RV park. Amenities block is super clean also. We will definitely stay here again when we come over from Australia again!

We've been coming to Chalk Creek Campground for many years now and it continues to be our favorite trip of the season. The lower camping area is perfect for families with children. Ours love candy bar bingo hosted by the camp store staff! Staff are friendly and helpful. Tons of hiking and white water rafting nearby as well as Mt. Princeton Hot Springs. Highly recommend!

Great camp ground in a beautiful area. My wife and I had a great experience here at Chalk Creek Campground. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The campground has every convenience, showers, restrooms, laundry, small general store, water, dump site, power, wifi, large sites. Our 37ft rig fit easily. We rented movies and got ice cream from the store one evening. Plenty to do nearby. We will be back,l.

Beautiful and clean campground! Very well maintained and the owner is awesome. Staff is friendly and helpful. They even deliver ice and firewood directly to your site. The lower campground and creek are gorgeous. Great location and the view is amazing! Definitely recommend Chalk Creek Campground for an outstanding camping experience!

Beautiful campground! It’s very clean and well cared for. The location is fantastic and the creek side spots are superb. We have stayed a few years in a row with a large group and have had nothing but great times! Will keep going back!

Chalk Creek RV Park: Very happy with our experience. Lower loop is better for creek side camping. Electric only in lower. Lower campground has Frisbee golf. Warer fill & dump at campground. General store on site. Only 7 minutes to Mt Princeton hot springs. 10 minutes to Buena Vista. Barba Wipple Trail is in BV with an easy hike along the creek. Fall had beautiful fall leaves along the trail. Both upper & lower campgrounds have considerable road noise- outside of that, this was overall a great RV park. Horse shoes in upper with a communal fire pit. Lower has individual fire rings while upper did not. Upper has full hook ups. Fenced in dog park on property.

Best RV campground located between Buena Vista and Salida. Minutes to Mt. Princeton Hot Springs and Browns Canyon for hiking. Very clean, well maintained by great staff who are very helpful and attentive. Anthony went above and beyond, helping my daughter and myself to get our hot water heater and water pump working on our camper. He saved the day making our stay so pleasurable. Camping by the creek side was so beautiful! Amazing snow capped Mountain View’s too. Be sure to shop at the on-site gift shop and store. Great prices and super friendly people. So much fun, and a great campsite! Creek was really nice and you even white water raft pass the campsite on the Arkansas.

Jason and his wife were a blast, super funny, kind, and always working.
