Mochi donuts and Taiyaki cones!! Right off the jump this is a yuuuge win for CT. I have been wanting to try both as something about fried mochi is just bonkrz and those epic fish (sea bream) shaped "cake" cones are a viral sensation!

Its run by this super friendly couple who's focus is to bring authentic drinks and desserts representing their culture using only natural high quality ingredients which shine in every cup you sip.

Seasonal and weekly rotating menu of unique drink combos are mind blowin! Thats crazy work n i mean look at the piccccs, n absolute slapr for the gramtoks ?

Will be back for a red bean paste taiyaki but I gotta get there before the flavors change again! ? ?

VERY COOL twist on a donut shop and unlike anything CT has to offer. The place is very simple and well decorated. Perfect spot to reconnect with a friend or work from your laptop. Plus it’s next to my favorite Asian supermarket in the state. The donuts were cute and yummy, the drinks unique and flavorful and the owner sweet and charming.

Came here specifically for the ice strawberry matcha w/oatmilk. It was SO good-- exactly what I was hoping for! I'll definitely be back for this. We also had a churro doughnut which was super fresh and flavorful. We also tried the iced black sesame latte which was excellent. Overall, whoa, so good. I highly recommend.

Finally made it back down here & got my favorite flavors mochi donuts: Nutella Almond, Cookie Monster & Chocolate. My favorite delicious tea: strawberry chrysanthemum (bonus: they let you use your own cup).

‼️This Place is the Must stop by if your in West Hartford CT.‼️ I’ve been to 45 states and no one has made anything close to what this guys do . I would recommend this place to anyone that wants to try something new . I asked to make me surprise drink and it was amazing , take it from a google expert I know what I’m talking about . The owner is an awesome family man that loves his business as much as his kids. Good luck to you Brian and hope to see you guys soon.

Cha Papi is located in the same plaza as A Dong market. There were plenty of parking since it's a big lot. The shop was charming; the ambiance was that of a coffee shop. I wanted to try out the taiyaki soft serve but they said it would take about 10 minutes to cook. I didn't feel like waiting so that will be a next time thing. The taiyaki is a fish shaped soft cone; the soft serve flavors were matcha green tea and ube purple yam. I've had it in Miami and loved it, so looking forward to trying it out here soon. They also serve lattes and milk teas. This time I opted for the raspberry cheesecake mochi donut; wow, that is five stars alone. The chewy and light dough melted in my mouth. It is pricey but I'd say it is worth it ($4.25). Service was quick and friendly.

Next time, I want to try out their Ube latte, brown sugar latte, strawberry matcha latte, and taiyaki soft serve. I may need to go quite often and soon to try this laundry list of items.

This place is the real deal! The texture and flavors of the mochi donuts are perfect. The teas are fresh brewed not powders, everything is perfectly sweet but not too sweet. The quality of everything I've had so far is exceptional. Just met one of the owners last night, very nice guy, him and his wife are doing it right! So happy this place is on my way to work.

OBSESSED is not the word ? !! I get the Passionfruit Guava Jasmine Tea and pair it with a mochi donut since they’ve opened up. They have yet to disappoint me. You have to have a specific palate to enjoy their products. It may not be for everyone but it is defitnitely for me!
