Great menu! I don't drink beer but my wife does and she loves the Hammer Ale. The Rooster Sandwich along with the parmesan fries is the best thing ever! So good!!!

First time here. Came for lunch with my daughter and granddaughter. Started with half order of Poutin (very generous portions), Had the Pork Belly BLT (great flavor), daughter had Not That French Dip (her favorite) granddaughter had Mac n Cheese. LOVED the menu selection. Unique offerings with a "Southern influence ". Being from Louisiana, will definitely try their Jambalaya next time! Hidden gem in Cary. Highly recommend 👌

Just stopped in for a beer, so I can't rate any food (this time). But from what I saw others eating, it must have been good. I've stopped in twice before (original owners) and was disappointed both times (too crowded and then slow service). This visit, under new owners, was better. I look forward to a next visit, where I can also try something off the food menu. The beer was good.

$$ Cary Ale House has a decent sized menu with a nice choice of appetizers, sandwiches, entrees, and desserts. Everything is prepared well with good flavor and good portion sizes. There's also a full bar with speciality beer, wine, and mixed drinks. Liken this place to a local hangout that is comfortable with prices that won't break the bank. A big screen TV over the bar and a fair number of tables for eating. Staff is very friendly and pleasant. Surprisingly, they have two bristle dart boards in the back and curious when they're used. However, the one mounted by the window is too close to the wall and the scoreboard is mounted in wrong place, but that's my opinion on that. Anyway, There is a small parking lot plus street parking as well. For those coming from further away, it is only about a block from the Cary Metra station. Definitely a place to visit.
07/08/23 Had a chance to eat in their outdoor area and it was wonderful. It's not a large area but it's adequate and given the number of diners, it didn't feel cramped. As with previous comments, you won't be disappointed dining and/or drinking here.

Cary Ale House has changed and not for the better. First off, cheese curds are supposed to squeak and the only thing that squeaked was me as I tried to hold back my tears of disappointment. Secondly, their "premium burger" was so bad my husband who has cereal and water for breakfast complained how bad that was. If you have a bland man complaining about that you need to do something different. For the love of all that is worthy, do something about this!! Also, I shouldn't have a river of oil running down my hand as I bite into a curd or fry. Whoever the manager is needs to either go back to how it was or get someone in that knows what they're doing. Sincerely, a patron that used to love this place.

Great local hangout with KILLER food off an awesome menu! Everything is made fresh, in-house and you can tell they care.

Bonus Content: They have Dogg n Sudds Root beer on tap! If you are a root beer fan you are in for a treat!

Came here for lunch and it did not disappoint. Delicious beer, amazing smash burger, kind and friendly service. Will return next time I’m in the area.
