The guy running the security booth is the reason people have a certain stereotype for police and military. Keep your gun in your holster partner, you ruin it for the 98% of good personnel.

Short dark skin guy at the front desk is not very friendly and has little to no education. Yelling at people and skipping others because he is being lazy and doesn't want to get up and do his job and take paperwork to the back..

On my way to Space X I had to stop at the Pass office so I could drive onto the air force base. Expecting a lot of attitude and difficulty, I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was well organized and the staff were very friendly. I was in and out in under an hour and on my way to my destination.

It was cool to see the “Space Force” signage. That’s as close as we got as we had a tight window to pick up an order near by. It looked very nice and would have loved to tour it if that’s even possible these days.
