The place is nice and it's got most of the things anyone would look for in a rec center. And it's got good hours that are easy to work into my schedule.

Beautiful facility. If you are attending GSU, I highly recommend you go. Every sport you can imagine, and even a huge 40+ foot climbing wall. 2 pools, weights, glassed racquet ball rooms and so much more.

This is a superb place. Directions though: should say Georgian University Rec because it pops up wrong on the GPS bouncing around having you circle around the university. If coming southernly on rt. 67 which is Fair Road heading north , you will take a left onto Veteran Memorial Parkway and right onto Akins Blvd and a left into the parking lot. If coming from north bound you can go south on Rt. 73 South Main Street, pass the light at Tillman Rd., go past Parish and next left into Old Register Rd, take a right inside the circle, bear left at the ' Y ' road which is Forest Drive and make a right onto Akins Boulevard and you are to the front of the building.

The RAC Won’t allow students to bring more then two guests even though the guests have to pay when entering. Frankly it seems rather stupid.

It's not always this quiet but the facilities are impressive and the outdoor lazy-river and hot tub are for the perfect wind-down.
