The atmosphere of the café was certainly unique—though not in the way I had anticipated. From the moment I stepped inside, there was an undeniable energy, but it was quickly overshadowed by inefficiency at the counter. The barista, seemingly overwhelmed, struggled to take the correct order for the two customers ahead of me, prolonging an already sluggish process.

When it was finally my turn, I made an effort to be clear and polite, greeting the barista and stating my order precisely. Rather than acknowledging it, she responded with a completely different item that wasn’t even on the menu, forcing me to physically point to what I wanted. That should have been a simple correction, but then came the name debacle. She mispronounced my name three times—each attempt more incorrect than the last—until I had to lean in and enunciate it slowly, as if it were an alien concept.

By the time I received my drink, I had already tempered my expectations. Unfortunately, even those weren’t low enough. The seasonal beverage I had hoped to enjoy turned out to be a murky, unpalatable concoction that evoked the taste of something dredged up from a stagnant, swampy lake. A disappointing end to an already frustrating experience.

Absolutely amazing place! Breakfast sandwich was DELICIOUS, the shaken latte perfect for any coffee lover, pumpkin muffin was delectable, and the owners were incredibly welcoming. They made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to ensure a great experience. 10/10 recommend to ANYONE to stop by!! They’re certainly on mission for the Kingdom. Plus have super fun creative events at night (music, crafts, charcuterie board night, etc) which makes for a unique and different friends gathering or date night!

I’m a pretty particular person when it comes to my food and drink. I guess that’s a nice way of saying picky lol. But ever since I’ve started coming here I’ve noticed exceptional customer service and the best tasting espresso and coffee in Warrensburg. This has now become my go to coffee shop
