Let's start off with the location, corner of North Ave & St. Luis. Upon entering, there is spacious room in the back. The barista is super friendly and polite. We had the cafe con leche, could be a little stronger. Blueberry muffin, yummy, and fresh. And a Blueberry scone also fresh. Overall i will be returning.

Love this place. The latte is like a warm hug and the people are so welcoming. The pastries are very fresh and delicious too. I usually get my coffee to go but the space is beautiful and seems like a great place to have an event or meet friends. Thanks for the hospitality Anton!

I recently visited a lovely coffee place and had a great experience. They served me “a mini quiche” of sort, which I really liked, and the most amazing oat milk latte I've had in a while. The place was super cozy and inviting, making you want to stay for a while. Totally worth a visit!

I love this place, the staff are delightful and the back seating area looks cozy - personally the loud karaoke hits early in the morning forced me to sit by the front windows which, it's also nice up there. I'd appreciate some chill music that everyone doesn't know every word to turned down a bit so I can enjoy the lounge area. Maybe that's just me though, still recommend this cafe!

Was in Chicago for the morning for an audition and wanted to grab a coffee and some breakfast at a locally-owned coffee shop. I saw Cafe Calida on Google and decided to give this place a try. AM I GLAD I DID!! The latte I got was a perfect size (and perfectly priced!) and was absolutely delicious. Same goes for the well-proportioned broccoli and cheddar quiche I got. The seating area in the back is lovely and quaint. I also appreciated that the music being played is different from other coffee shops, yet is very fitting for this space. I got to chat with Anton for a bit. A super friendly guy who is passionate about treating his customers right and making sure they are taken care of. Finally, don’t let the outside fool you. When you open the door to this place, you’ll feel right at home. I will definitely be back here any time I’m in the area. Well worth anyone’s time and money!!
