The chicken and panini, while good, is a bit overpriced. Drip coffee is indubitably the best in town, the medium roast, which I usually get, is a banger coffee

Bucers is a Moscow institution, a great coffee shop, and community hub.

If you're in a rush and want to grab and go a coffee and snack on the way to work (you're already late), don't go here!

However, if you actually want to enjoy your coffee, a delicious pastry or some soup, or maybe some beer or wine, this is the best place in Moscow to do it. Live music some weeknights, familiar friends and faces every day. Moscow has a good coffee scene for such a small town, and Bucer's is at the top of it.

It, like every other small business, especially in food service, has seen some hard hits post-Covid. Sometimes the pastry case isn't' as full as it was pre-2020, and sometimes it seems like they may have a hard time hiring/retaining staff, but the core of the business, its heart and soul, is what makes it good.

Damn good coffee, too.

If you live here, you should become a regular, if you're just visiting, go check them out!

WOW! If I would have my own coffee shop, this is what it would be like! Relaxing atmosphere and piano/ jazz music. They roast their own coffee which was so rich and fresh. The have beers and cigar room as well. The place is filled with books which just adds to the relaxing atmosphere. Absolutely 10 out of 10 and this is my new favorite coffee shop!

Great food, when you can get it. The rather large menu is hit and miss. Many items unavailable. They often run-out of items and you have to finally say”what do you have”. I have been served lukewarm food and had to ask for it to be reheated on several occasions. The seating is difficult, no windows in compartmental rooms. Very eclectic in that way.
The food is tasty and the soups are good. Twice now I’ve had to wait for dishes to be cleaned so my food could be served on them. So, would I recommend this place - the food is good, just be aware of the drawbacks. I would say 50% has been a pretty good experience- the other 50% is simply amusing. Will I go back- still debating; maybe just for coffee to go.

Lovely atmosphere fantastic food and drink, but at my last visit I had to wait nearly an hour for them to heat up and serve my sandwich. I believe they had forgotten about the order I paid for and they offered no compensation for their mistake when I asked. Very disappointing.

Worst experience there…again. I came here 10 years ago and had the worst experience. I just wanted a coffee after a nice dinner with my mom and the cashier was the rudest ever. I am pretty sure it was the same guy from 10 years ago. Never going to give this place another chance. Get your coffee elsewhere.

Wish I could give this place a better review. Sadly, my experience was sullied by the flat out unwelcoming and hostile treatment I received from the cashier and barista. The food was ok and the latte was a bit more bitter than I usually like. That being said, the atmosphere/decor is very warm and cute, but was sadly overshadowed by the lack of customer service. Personally, I enjoy going to coffee shops for the warm and welcoming experience, otherwise I’d just make my coffee at home. Because of this I won’t be returning, nor will I be recommending this place to anyone I know.
