I recently visited Bruce & Ollie's, and it was an absolute delight! The decor is charming and cozy, with cute accents and comfortable sofas that make you want to stay and relax for hours. The ambiance is perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a quiet moment alone.

The coffee was outstanding, rich, and flavorful, easily one of the best I've had in a long time. Although I didn't get a chance to try the ice cream this time, it looked delicious, and I can't wait to go back and sample it on my next visit.

Overall, Bruce & Ollie's offers a wonderful experience with its great coffee, inviting atmosphere, and delightful decor. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

Great place to visit with a friend. Games available and coloring sheets. Tremendous variety of drinks and ice cream available. I had a generous salad and my friend recommends the gourmet grilled cheese.

I’ve been to this shop several times, we visit every time we are in the area! The ice cream is delicious, the coffees are great and the breakfast items and large and delicious! The staff is always very friendly. We will definitely be back!

Not our first visit, and we've always been very happy with product and service. This review is long overdue. I had the Valentine's coffee flight hot, my husband had Irish coffee and one of the freshest salads we've ever had out. This place has such unique flights, and we are very comfortable wherever we decide to sit. Much thought has to go into what they offer. Nice staff too.

My favorite detail was the map of Starved Rock State Park down the road. It allowed us to plan our visit there while waiting for our order.
The places offers a lot, but it is all over the place, there was a menu board for the food, on another wall a menu board for ice cream and specialty drinks. Then several smaller hand written boards with seasonal choices. After we had placed our order, my eye caught another option I would have loved to try, but didn't see in time. Less us more.

Tough one to review here... The food was good but the max n cheese is made in house but appears like basic Kraft Mac n cheese - that's not a problem really but it's way overpriced and a small serving, even for kids. Staff were stressed but friendly and doing their best to keep up. Deal-breaker was the drinks tho - they have a lot of unique drinks but somehow managed to mess up every one of ours with wrong ingredients added or things we asked for, and paid for, being left out. If you pay 6-7 for a kids drink, you really want it to come out as it should. That just didn't happen here & that was a bit disappointing. Neat place tho and you can tell the staff are trying.

What great little place to hangout with friends, or even by yourself.
The staff is very friendly and helpful with assisting you with making the right choice with your ice cream flavor.
The atmosphere is phenomenally relaxing and laid back.
They have a good selecting of ice cream, teas, coffee and a couple of sandwiches.
The place is nicely decorated and open with a counter, tables and some sofa chairs centered around the fireplace.
They also have a small outdoor patio outside in back of the building as well as some additional seating options in front.
I only had ice cream and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality.
I can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu.
