Move out of state with relatives (least desirable) b). Move to an assisted-living very close to home, & life long friends c). Stay within the current home setting with round the clock assistance w: activities of daily living.

The staff at Brandywine is top notch. Nursing is on top of everything and I feel relieved knowing my mom is safe and well cared for. Day-to-day staff are caring and keep moms spirits up during this difficult phase of life. They work with families to try and accommodate every need including rides to appointments, coordination of medical care with physicians, and adjusting personal care as needed to allow mom as much independence as possible. Mom has been at several other places in the area and they don't compare.

My father, my mother, and step-father all moved to Brandywine over the last 2 years, and it has been a great experience overall. They have many more opportunities now instead of being stuck at home, and they have made life-long friends with both staff and other residents. It feels like home and is a very friendly and safe environment with a good balance of independence and support that puts everyone at ease.

My mom lived in Brandywine's Memory Care Unit for almost 5 years. The care was exceptional. The staff is compassionate, patient, kind, loving and skillful. Every time I visited, the facility was clean and the residents were engaged in an activity or resting comfortably. When I brought up any concerns with the staff or administration, they were respectful and willing to make changes. Moving my mom to Brandywine was one of the best decisions I ever made.

Our friend and former neighbor lived at Brandywine for 7 years, 4 of those years in Reflections. I went there a least once a month and was always impressed with the responsive staff, the care and attention to detail provided to our friend. The staff organized daily activities and outings. The environment is warm, safe and visually pleasant. We appreciated the exceptional care.

I had gone to quite a few facilities for tours and to meet the staff but Brandywine topped all the others. There really was no comparison. My Aunt has been there now for two months and she is doing great thanks to the terrific staff, the food, the beauty of the facility and the many activities that keep her engaged everyday. The place is so clean and like a hotel. Her private room is so nice. My Aunt is clean, dressed beautifully and has her hair done in the salon upstairs. We’re been to chili cook offs, Halloween parties and a Thanksgiving dinner at the upstairs restaurant in the short time she’s been there. Believe me I’d live there if I ever had to. Nanette made the whole process of getting her admitted effortless. I thank her for her kindness and quick friendship. I am so grateful to everyone for taking such good care of someone so special to me! ?
