This will be a different experience for people who have never had it. You have to try the Italian beef with the cheese sauce and jalapenos if you can handle it. Scrumptious! The bread will be soggy which will throw you if you don't understand that's normal for this sandwich. This place is small and divey and very fast. Keep them going, they deserve it.

Pork dogs like I prefer. Just not the quality of Don's, which were the best. Almost $10 for 2 dogs with hot peppers

Took sauercrout dog back to young man. The bun was stale. The ends started to get hard. Bought back ask for another bun from new pkg. He used same buns he made the 1st one with. He says this is soft. It can be soft but stale. The when I said wanted peppers he wanted to throw in pepper without wrapping them in my sack. I told him no no I need them wrapper. I told y
Him didn't your mother teach yu to wrap. I went outside and it was stale..took out the ends but was terrible. He was creepy sorry. Wasted 7.and some cents I didn't have

I visited the Bourbonnais location for the first time ever and ordered a hot dog for myself and a “nacho beef” for my husband. The nacho beef was literally bread, beef, with melted cheese on top. The worker sat the bread on the bare steel counter and moved it back and forth between the beef and cheese. She finally put it on the foil to wrap it up once she was done. I found that to be extremely unsanitary. The beef also tasted like Papa Charlie’s from Walmart. Also, my hot dog was extremely light pink in color almost white and very mushy when I bit into it. I ended up throwing it away and wasted $4. I also bought an “Italian ice” that the worker grabbed out of a freezer/refrigerator full of boxes. Once I opened it, it was freezer burned so I threw it away as well. The overall appearance of the restaurant could use some work and cleaning. It looks like a restaurant out of an episode of Gordon Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmares. I do not plan to return to this restaurant, but I just wanted to express my experience.

Open for carry out and decent food for really cheap. I was super happy! The hot dogs, cheesecakes, and unique sodas were all amazing. It is going to become my new regular place.

There's no bathroom inside The chili dogs were excellent and a cold root beer. But no bathrooms my wife had to go down the street at the gas station.

PLEASE USE CAUTION EATING HERE ( my dog didn’t even want it! )
Ever want to bite into a sandwich that tastes like card board ? How about a bite of a hot dog that had been THROWN in the bag ? Then you should totally eat here. What happened to this place ? My heart is broken as I grew up loving this place, but today me and my boyfriend were served what I could call a disaster ! After repeating myself 4 times to the girl in the extremely inappropriate attire ( I mean her butt was hanging out ? It’s 40 degrees out. ? ) she was not very friendly no smile, no thank you. Just “ huh “ and not paying attention. since when can you just walk into work dressed for the club ? we ordered two things, and neither one were worth the finishing ! Not to mention the hot dogs ( chili cheese ) had just been thrown into the bag and got everything dirty.

They also don’t serve fries ? Like how are you going to be a hot dog place and not serve the most basic food ? So this place is not picky kid friendly.

So if they are not even willing to keep their employees in proper attire and maybe give them some training on food handling, I doubt they care about there workers washing hands and keeping their kitchen clean, changing gloves when necessary ect ect.

The quality of the food served here is like going to the dollar store. Like LITERALLY
