The best coffee and pastries in Dahlonega, hands down! The vanilla hemp milk latte is my go-to, always on point. Avocado toast and sandwiches are also excellent. But it’s so much more than a cafe - this place has a bright, friendly vibe and they are connected to the community, local musicians, farmers, and artists in an organic way with concerts, events, and pop-up markets. If every business here was as passionate as Blue 42 in terms of dedication to the people and economy in Dahlonega, this city would be the shining gem of the Southeast. They have truly built something special, and it’s been wonderful getting to know the team and other regular customers. As a side note, the restrooms are always SO clean, which I very much appreciate!! The apothecary side is also cool, and their cannabis products are super high quality.

I also must say, I overheard the exchange with the college student who was camped out without purchasing anything and who left a one star review here, so I just gotta say something! The owner was very respectful to some unapologetic and entitled people, he handled it very well - and FYI kids, hot tip: don’t park yourself in any local business for hours without buying at least a cup of coffee.

Several of my friends have recently visited this place and spoke very highly of their experience, so I was happy to have been invited by someone to go there recently and see for myself. My wife and I were both impressed with the atmosphere, variety of drinks and snacks, decor, helpful staff, and especially the the thoughtful and engaging owner.

We were particularly impressed with the chai that we enjoyed while we listened to a talented musician perform live in the comfortably appointed back seating area. We heard descriptions of some ideas for the future of the shop, and we are looking forward to the expanded options that we understand are forthcoming. This is already such a charming and appealing environment that we are excited about the potential for what's on the way.

I'm looking forward to making this place a part of my regular routine.

Blue 42 Market is amazing. The coffee, food, and atmosphere are really great. We had soft, flaky, buttery croissants, artisan sandwiches, a vanilla latte, delicious tea, and a slow drip coffee.

The people are even better! We showed up when there was live music, so we hung out and ate. Wonderful, classic coffee shop vibes. This place is an eclectic mix of coffee, cannabis, good food, live music, community events, parties, and so much more. It’s gonna be a hot spot in Dahlonega!

What an awesome market!!! From the food, to the service, to the vibe and atmosphere, everything is straight out of the top drawer. The unique artistic touches included throughout the store add that extra homely feel, and really create such a life giving space for all to enjoy. Would highly recommend to anyone making a stop in Dahlonega. Can’t wait to go back!

This place is amazing! We are in town traveling and we found Blue 42 online. The owner was incredibly nice and you can tell he’s very passionate about his restaurant and community. My girlfriend and I would highly recommend this place, food is great and so are the vibes!
