One of the best courses to play in Florida. Always in great condition and the layout of this place is fantastic (rumor is Tiger likes this one a bunch). This course has great elevation changes, challenging hazards and wonderfully diabolic greens....and then you get to the quarry holes. Several holes were built in and around a former quarry pit and they gives you the feeling that you are playing on some mountain course. There are 2 par 3s that you literally have to carry over a casim... in Florida. So why haven't you played this course? Its PRIVATE (wah wah), but they do offer play and stay packages, but the are expensive($400 pp for one night stay, one round on the Quarry course and one on their other course) you get a nice house and the people at this course are very pleasant. Definitely a place to cross off your Golf Bucket list.

Really fun course, great lay out, and challenging as well. It does seem very pretentious from the staff and there were spots of the course that didn't have grass at all. $175 just to chip and putt is a little crazy seeing as the round was the same price.

Did stay and play. Horrible experience getting house sorted. No pool, no grill and broiler didn't work. Rooms very dated and bug infested. Staff changed our tee times each day. Quarry course was very good - conditions average - greens good. Back 9 holes special. Other 2 courses under construction - reminded me of a cow pasture. Don't waste your money on any other course. The only place to eat/drink on property closes at 1:00pm on Sundays?

Without question Black Diamond is the finest course I've yet to play in FL. We played the Quarry course. Very smooth and fast greens were in good (but not great) condition.
Tees and fairways were good. Very friendly staff!
The best thing about the course are the 5 or 6 holes built around the old quarry. Spectacular elevation changes and views.

Fantastic golf course, friendly staff, and really good food, if given the chance, it's definitely worth a visit.
