Been coming here since I was a kid! Great throughout my lifetime of 62 years! The bandshell, the geese and ducks, updated playground equipment, a boat launch, a nice path along the river, the quarry…. 🦆🪿

We take family fishing trips down here alot in nice weather & the view is beautiful I love how open it is so the kids have a place to play & run while waiting for fish bites on their poles

Visited today with my grand daughter. Why Kankakee couldn't send a couple guys down along the quarry for a couple hours to trim some weeds and pick up trash once in awhile? Park equipment needs power washed bad and is missing alot of climbing handles etc. This park could be such a gem

We go there weekly and I love ❤️ it We have been looking for the Beaver and saw a large Racoon and the Ducks are back!!! A safe place and people speak. Good bye 👋 to all these are my last post.

Its a clean family park. Able to sit by the river. Lots of picnic tables and good playground equipment.they also have a very nice well maintained splash pad in the summer months for the kids. In the winter they do lights in the park where it is a guided tour on the radio thru the park and all the lights dance to the music. It is kind of a cool thing they do but they do charge a fee per car. The park is well maintained and a great view of the weather.
