Outstanding golf course - always a treat to play. Has some thick rough, as it should be. Course has always been challenging and well kept. The overall value and beauty of this club are without equal. A proper golf experience, right here in Southeast Missouri. Bent Creek is my new "home course", and it's 40 minutes from my house.

The course itself was good. Great scenery and decently challenging holes. However, greens were in rough condition. Also we went on Saturday and there was only one worker in the “pro shop”. She was pleasant but seemed overwhelmed. Also cmon you gotta have water somewhere accessible for patrons on the course. The worker had to leave the front desk and walk to their other property to fill my water bottle

Pretty run down course and the owner is rude.

Teaboxes are in bad shape and don't even mark them, so you have no idea where the black or white tee box is supposed to be.

Bunkers didn't have sand in them.

Cart paths are a safety issue, cracked anymore and you would think it was gravel path, which would be smoother.

We played on a weekday and had a mid morning tee time. A group caught up to us and we waited at the next tee box to let them pass us. And they complained to the owner about it. And the owner drove out to us and didn't ask any questions or confirm anything. And said we need to speed it up or we could be kicked out. But when members say anything to the owner, oh boy, he'll go shut ya down. I wouldn't pay to be a member with the poor quality of the course.

Late September and the course is still in great shape. Friendly staff. Could be 5 stars if they had a full scale restaurant.

Im disappointed in the way the club treats people that want to have a fun time. While with a party of 4, we were contacted by the owner or course marshal (one of the two, not sure which) about the fact that we had been holding up other golfers. Now to be quite frank, weve all played golf before so we knew the rules and etiquette of the course, and were happy to let other play through when we were going at a slower pace since we are not pro golfers. We are just 4 friends who wanted to play a round of golf and have a good time doing it. I know this isnt the clubs fault necessarily, however the way the message was delivered wasnt very friendly, and we felt rushed the rest of the round. I will say that the folks working in the clubhouse were very kind and professional, so that is the only reason why this isnt a flat out 1 star rating. To sum it up, if you want to feel belittled and rushed, and not have a very fun time, then this is the course for you. As for me, i most likely will not return to this course for a "fun round of golf".

Perfect for enjoying golf with friends. I'm not a pro, so I like the couple extra minutes on each tee time. Don't worry, I usually play during the more open week day hours...

I’ve been playing this course since the day it opened. There was a time not more than a few years ago when myself and many others considered it to be the best public choice between St. Louis and Memphis. This is NOT the case any longer. Played here yesterday 2/22/23. Greens were a disaster. Like putting on a waffle iron. I know there has been a long running history of greens issues over a year and plenty of time to repair them. There’s no money being spent and no desire to restore this course to it’s former glory. So sad! Won’t be back until some real effort is shown to make repairs.

Today was my first day of playing at Bent Creek. I was really happy to play on such a wonderful day. The course was a little dry, but exciting. The cart paths are in need of repairs, but I'm sure they are working to get them repaired. Just a wonderful place to play a game of golf. My new home golf course!!!
