This review is for the dental office in Blue Island. The dental office mentioned was listed as in network for my plan. I called to make an appointment and provided my insurance number and info. I was given an appointment for the next day. I called the next morning after receiving a voicemail that they didn’t have a valid insurance on file for me. They requested my provider number on the back of my card and told me they would call me back. They called me back within 15 mins and was told my insurance is not active. I have had this dental plan since May (3 months prior) and never had an issue so I requested to cancel my appointment and call my insurance myself. My insurance provider confirmed my insurance has been active since May 1. I definitely will not be rescheduling with them. There is a disconnect in the way the office is run

The service I get at the actual facility in Blue Island is really good and I give them above five stars. The only problem that I have which is why I gave three stars is because when you call the operator she makes it sound like you are wasting her time. She sounds very unhappy and talks down to you when you asked questions as if you should know better because you know everybody's a doctor as well. I would highly suggest this facility check on her and potentially higher someone who sounds a little more like they care about their job.

Worst experience, I took my son in for a check up and was waiting for a long time in the lobby. Once he was brought in, they had us wait another hour. Then when Audrey Cofie the FNP walked in the room, she took one look at us in the room and walked out the room and refused to see my child. All the nurses asked her why she wouldn’t see my son and she would just refuse to see him. So I had to wait till there was another Doctor available to see him. The way Audrey Cofie acted towards us after seeing us is so unprofessional and if it had to do with our ethnicity, Audrey should not be working if she’s going to be racist towards a different race. I tried to speak with the person in charge and was told I would get a call back and I have not heard anything. Very unprofessional and management should really see who they are hiring as employees because the way Audrey acted towards us was wrong.Also they never have vaccines available and I always get sent to Walgreens or get told to call another facility so my son can get his shots, yet they still charge the insurance and I have to pay out of pocket.

The staff was very professional and helpful with my experience with them. I felt comfortable because I was greeted at the door with professionalism and told that it was mandatory for masks to be worn to protect not only the staff but myself from viruses of other visitors checking in as well. They also had a trailer to check in before going to the building where the actual nurses were stationed at to protect them as well.
I agree with all protocols that was taking place and feel like they should be done at every clinic because of the pandemic during the holidays

We were here on 7/8 and the people here are AMAZING!! Myself and my child were treated with the utmost courtesy, respect and professionalism. We had the last appointment of the day, but everyone from registration, to the nurses and doctor were kind and attentive. The nurse that treated my child was PHENOMENAL! She was very reassuring and caring. We were in and out in under an hour. I can’t say enough good things about this facility. If you’re looking for people that genuinely CARE this is the place for you!

I have called 3 days in a row to try to find out some information about seeing a dentist there since I already see a Dr there. I get transferred to dental and leave messages and no one calls me back. Today I called twice and I was told someone would give me a call back before 5 and still nothing! I really hope they don’t treat emergencies like this! It’s absolutely ridiculous!

I experienced the most unprofessional insane encounter for the first time. I have been going here for so many years that I’ve witnessed almost the whole staff department change from Doctors and Nurses down to the security. Today I intended to take my son for a physical. I Ubered him there to meet him from work. I was caught by a train and arrived later than my son and while I understand that a minor cannot be seen by a doctor without adult supervision my child was forced to stand outside until I arrived. I get there and have a debate with a worker about a mask then secondly for the security guard to continue the debate wanting to act as a higher up than what his actual position entails and lastly for the nurse to just turn me away without even trying to see if the doctor would see my son due to me being late. While knowing this is a medical facility I’ve been to emergency rooms not making masks a big deal or atleast asking you to only wear a regular mask while this office is expecting patients to wear N95 masks meanwhile the President has even made it clear over national news that we are no longer in a pandemic. The security obviously had an issue from not receiving attention from me on previous encounters. He was very argumentative and attempted to refuse letting me see the doctor. I later made a post on social media regarding my encounter today and he screenshots my posts. It’s very unprofessional and stalker like to keep watching someone who’s not interested and due to this my son was unable to get a physical for school. Lastly I don’t know this security personally but my last visit he wanted to make me aware he met me before in a public setting and tried pursue me. I am highly upset that my entire day was inconvenienced all because of someone’s lack of professionalism and maturity.

Usually every time I call I get attitude from the person who answers the phone . A few weeks ago I made an appointment because I had an allergic reaction and the doctor didn’t really ask me any questions and she was in and out in a hurry . She told me to go to the pharmacy to pick up something she prescribed me that should help and left . I went to the pharmacy and I had no prescription there for me . The few times I have gotten something prescribed to me I have this problem . I go to the pharmacy and they don’t have anything for me so I have to call and have them resend me the prescription (sometimes the clinic is closed so I have to wait an extra day ) Finally I wasn’t feeling well last week so I called and they gave me an appointment for Thursday the 23 and had a test done and the doctor said she was going to call me with the results either the 24-25 and she never did . I understand it’s Christmas but she even asked me if it was okay to call me either day and I said yes because I was in pain . The clinic was closed until Tuesday the 28 so I called around 1230 and was told to call after 1 . I called again around 130 and was told she was with a patient . I called again at 4 and the lady again with her attitude told me she was still busy and she will call me when she’s done . It is almost 6pm I called and the office is closed and I never received my call. I am changing doctors and I suggest anybody to look somewhere else as well . The doctors are L lucero & H Harrison .
