When arriving at Bangkok Room, be mindful that you have to park on the street, but it is well worth the inconvenience. Since it is not too far from the water, it can be a little drafty in the colder months, especially because most of the seating is by windows, if not outdoors.

The waitress was friendly and attentive, making sure to answer any of our questions and that all guests in the restaurant were satisfied. While dining, it became evident that this is a local favorite for takeout as most customers were picking up food rather than dining in.

The food itself was generously portioned for the price, delicious, and the spice levels were customizable to an individual's preference. Two things to take note of would be if you have sensitivities to coconut, as that allergen is not consistently denoted on the menu, and if you add meat to a dish, expect an additional charge. While all of the food was phenomenal, the Kui Chai (vegetable pancake) was a particular favorite as it was reminiscent of Chinese Dim Sum. If we were to go back, we would probably order several appetizers instead of a full meal as the appetizers were more filling than we thought they would be and pleasantly different from other places we have visited in the past.

Reviews brought me here and I am so pleased with my experience. Ambiance is 10/10.

It was a Tuesday night, close to closing time and I was 20 minutes away from Milford, but was looking for good Thai. I called in advance to ask if I can dine in, and it sounded like it was just too late but it was okay with me. However, when I arrived, they had accommodated my request and was able to have a sit down dinner with my spouse.

He ordered a Fried Rice (Spicy dish-can't recall the name) and I ordered the sesame chicken. Both were very, very delicious. We also ordered a steamed snapper (a whole snapper- that was $32) to go which was really delicous.

We are definitely returning to try more off the menu and to experience a Friday/Saturday night. Highly recommend.

Such a pleasant experience all the way around. Beautiful little restaurant with fantastic food. We had the Tom Yum Soup, the Ginger Red Snapper (so fresh!) and the Sampler for an appetizer - don't miss this. The owner is very nice and really made us feel welcome. Also - they offer a 10% discount for cash so we will remember that for next time.

Love Bangkok room in Milford. Delicious Thai food. The food is always hot when ordering takeout or delivery. The staff is so friendly and inside the restaurant is cute with the nice outdoor deck too! Order from here at least a couple times of month. Excellent food and perfect price $$$ can’t rave enough about this place, I tell all my family and friends looking for good Thai

WOW! I have nothing but amazing things to say! We did pickup! The taste was excellent, service was awesome, and pay w cash and get a discount! My mom and I both loved our food. We ordered the beef satay, veggie dumpling soup, and green curry w veggies and mild spice. SUPER FLAVOR AND TASTY!!

Delicious and affordable Thai food in Milford. Tum the chef stopped by to say hello and thank us for the visit. We've already returned a second time and brought friends and will be back again. Tried calamari, various types of curry, soups, etc. All very good. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Highly recommended.

My third visit in the same week. Hands down the most delicious drunken noodles in CT! The Tom yum noodle soup was also delicious. I love this place and the staff are the kindest! Best addition to the area ❤️

I’ve lived in Milford for over 20 years and the Drunken Noodle with Chicken that I had at this restaurant was without a doubt the most delicious dish I’ve eaten in town. Usually I have to travel to NYC or New Haven to taste such diverse and well balanced meals, but now I’m happy to say that Bangkok Room is a 2 minute drive from my house and I will be coming regularly. Again, this may be one of the best restaurants in Milford… don’t skip over it
