Had an absolutely wonderful experience here!! I had the cinnamon roll iced latte and a smoked salmon croissant. My mom had the special (jalapeño and sausage on a biscuit) with a white chocolate coffee. Our drinks were delightful! The food came out in under 10 min and it was absolutely delicious! Will be going back!

I stopped here on my way home from Starved Rock State Park. It's a wonderfully cozy cafe. It appears to be family owned and run. The service was friendly. The food (egg, cheese, and ham croissant) was delicious. The atmosphere is homey and sweet. I love the yellow walls!

Cozy counter service bakery and breakfast cafe, with a small lunch menu. Can get busy so get there early for the best bakery selection. We had some great breakfast croissant sandwiches and the tots were great!

I eat gluten-free, so finding a decent breakfast option can be challenging. Not here! I converted a sandwich to a GF wrap and it was delicious. The atmosphere was peaceful and hospitable. The service was warm and friendly. Add to this delightful place lots of little gifts to purchase that are reasonably priced, and one has the perfect place to land and rest. My husband described the pastry he ordered as,"like coming from Grandma's kitchen." If you love small high-quality coffee shops, you found the right place. Thank you!

It is not an exaggeration to say everything is good here. Nonies has the best breakfast in town. I highly recommend the Spicy Avacado Croissant, and the biscuits and gravy. Today I had their sausage breakfast sandwich on homemade biscuits for the first time and it was fantastic. You need to save room for a pastry because they have something different every week. If you want a pastry make sure you get there early because they sell out fast. Nonies has indoor and outdoor dinning. Nonies is a perfect place to either start or end your morning at Starved Rock. If these pictures and reviews do not make you hungry I do not know what will!

Such a cute place for picking up pastries, lunch or dinner or everything! For being in the middle of a pandemic, it's sweet and unassuming little shop and eating place in Starved Rock area, it was a treat to have some baked goods and I tried the chicken bacon panini which is best eaten immediately and their croissant and apricot pastry was light, fluffy and delicious!

Food is delicious. Coffee is awesome (try a snickerdoodle latte). The baked goods are out of this world.The staff are so nice and helpful. I can't recommend this place enough. We went here for breakfast and coffee every day of our vacation. I must go if you're in the area
