Waitress was on her first day, so took forever to be served. Fortunately, the food and coffee were delicious so we hope to return to upgrade the review to 5 stars with better service in the future. Stuffed waffles were amazing and unique, please give them a try.

This spot is like your grandma’s kitchen—if she had a 10/10 rating on everything and cooked right in front of you like a breakfast ninja. The food? Absolute perfection. Every bite tastes like it was made with love and a secret ingredient called "magic." The owner? Basically a culinary superhero who treats us like family every time we walk in. Hands down, the best breakfast and lunch you'll ever have. Go once, and you’ll never want to eat anywhere else. Highly recommend!

I'm going back for more tomorrow! I had a hard time deciding between a late breakfast or an early lunch, and I went with the burger for lunch. The owner cooked an amazing cheese burger topped with chili, onions and a pickle with side of fries and a coke. Delicious. And then I saw a stuffed waffle be taken to another table, I know where I'm going for breakfast tomorrow morning. A great stop in a small town. Had a nice chat after my meal with the owner (and cook) who was a really nice guy with some great stories to tell about his life experiences. Worth the stop.

Really great place to eat. I had the corned beef hash omelette and my wife had the Western omelette , we really enjoyed them. Fantastic home fries. We will definitely return . I would recommend a visit.

The stuffed waffle with egg cheese and jalapeño is to die for. Asa is a true artist and everything is fresh and delicious. The prices are amazing as well. Got to try it. Total gem in Winsted.

Do not do it to yourself! We ordered a chicken fried platter and a seafood platter. The seafood was basically Gordon’s fisherman’s frozen box seafood and the over frying job on the chicken was really bad. We could have played hockey with the chicken. Save yourself time & $$ and go to DQ next door! When you walk into a restaurant and NO ONE is in there, turn around and leave!

it was incredibly dirty… there was dirt all over the floors, the tables were sticky, the menus were greasy. there was a booger or something in my water along with other things and there was residue of other food on the back of my pancake.. my friend had shells in her eggs. the waitress was very nice.

Asa is the best! The most hospitable guy in town! The pork stuffed waffle is next level! I’ve been multiple times this week and it keeps me coming back! You will always leave with a smile. This place is a must have!
