Started going recently to a fitness kickboxing class. Let me start by saying everyone is super friendly and welcoming to newcomers. There is a lot to learn since the majority of everyone else knows their drills and what the numbers mean. That being said- the sensei, helper, and the other attendees are very patient and willing to go over things multiple times if you’re struggling trying to remember. Sensei Nick also cares very deeply about form and makes great efforts to give everyone tips and compliments throughout the class one-on-one. It is in no way easy, especially if it’s new to you, and I’ve had to sit down for a break once or twice but no one here makes you feel bad for having to do so. Can’t wait to see the progress over time. Highly recommend giving it a try if you’re curious and love a good challenge!

Sensei Nick and his crew are amazing with kids of all ages. My 2 daughters take karate here 3 days a week and my wife and I do kickboxing for adults 3 days a week. While this may sound expensive, it really is not. This place truly is fun for the whole family!!!

Sensei Nick is excellent. He works with all ages, as well as people with disabilities. He makes sure that you reach your goal no matter what. He does kickboxing for adults and Karate for 4 years olds and up. If you want to lose weight or if you just want to exercise, this is the place to go!!!

I was skeptical at first of bringing my child to a martial arts class considering how many bad ones there are. Sensei Nick is amazing with teaching and understanding the different ways each kid needs to be taught.

Used to go here. Went through the lower class then to the higher class. I quit after 2 years because it came a bit repetitive after purple belt. Do recommend though!!

This place has a lot of kids, may be because of pandemic crisis. The owner is absolutely charming. He ,probably ,could teach a lot,we will newer know. Because here kids do not : jump, run, push up,roll-only " positions". A lot of talking. 45 min class consisting of 5 minutes slow warm up ( like for 70 y.o.),done by 12 y.o. girl. Then 20 min of slow " khi-ha" steps with punch imitations. Then talking about test or behaving...and then you live ( always 5-7 minutes earlier). So it is not even 45 min.I understand, they just SCARED TO DEAD some one gets tired ( God forbid!) In this place kids NEWER sweat. For 3 weeks my son lost strength ( I was training him before),lost in push ups and got tummy on him. When your coach is scared to get any one hurt, scared of being pulled to court and etc....the child will grow the same way. Its a mental projection. And there is no physical conditioning AT ALL,ZERO. There is no active sparring ( 3 times of 1 minute mutual " touching " .. ohhhh. ) Girls are allowed to train in long skirts!!!! Can you believe it?! Kids walking bear food from car over the street right in dojo. .They won't give 1 free week of training. Because if I would know all of it,I would newer sign up. 100$ for uniform and subscription+ 85$/month?! For that?! They not even accredited school! We went to Shrade's taekwondo, which sends children's belt promotions to authorize in Korea!-75$ per month! No subscription fee!
I would put half star... 2 star for charm of the owner. But he is not a trainer. He is a businessmen. And I need my son to be able to handle something more, then a girl in long skirt).
I corrected some mistakes,so it posted new.
P.s.Your explications are really weird. And nothing changed in your place since we stopped coming. I assure you).
This is not review of me or of my reviews, correct? Training in skirt diminishing amplitude for leg movements, my son didn't want to fight someone loosing in advance. I am shocked, you are not understandi ng such a simple martial art details and still defending yourself. This is the most ridiculous attitude ever, really.
Rubbish.
How ever,
Good luck.
