It completely tastes African. It's spicy and delicious. It is well seasoned, and the service was great, they were very nice and friendly. it made me feel home again. The atmosphere is great, and the color is very calming, They made sure I was satisfied with my order. Each plate is $20 or less. Am definitely coming back again. This is gonna be my number one African restaurant to recommend to anyone who wanna try African food😃🤤🤤

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I have been waiting to try this place for months and I was not disappointed! The owner is awesome. She walked me through ordering a delicious meal that was satisfying and flavorful! The jollof rice was OUTSTANDING! It reminded me of when my father used to prepare it when I was a kid. Very Authentic! I also ordered the ogusi soup with fish and plantain! Everything was delightful! The customer service was excellent as well making my experience very pleasant. I can’t wait to come back and try some different items.

I walked into the restaurant and wasn’t greeted. I spoke saying “ hello, where is the menu?” Two ladies were there and pointed to a printed sheet of paper size 10 font, on the wall. I proceeded to walk close to the wall to read the posted menu. As I was looking at the menu I noticed no prices were listed on the menu. No one came to check and see if I was ready to order. So I walked out of the restaurant, without receiving any service. I thought maybe I would feel at home with some nice comfort food but I guess “I am too American.”

I called the restaurant prior to going in and was told they would not be opening up until 2pm. Although online said that they open at 1pm on Sundays. So PLEASE CALL BEFORE GOING just to ensure they are open. BIG INCONVENIENCE. Secondly, I noticed that the owner will charge HIGHER PRICES when she sees that YOU ARE AMERICAN. Even if one of the other ladies has already rung up your order, the owner will go up to the register and see what u were charged and then she will raise the prices ON THE SPOT. So if you are AMERICAN, BEWARE OF THIS!!!!!!!!!For example, one of the ladies had already charged me 10.00 for fufu, when the owner saw this, she then said "no its 15.00". However, when 2 African gentleman ordered their food, she did not adjust their prices. SHE ONLY RAISES THE PRICES WHEN SHE SEES THAT U ARE AMERICAN. Also, after the lady already charged me 10.00 for spinach soup, that had VERY LITTLE SPINACH, THE OWNER WALKED UP TO THE REGISTER AND SAID "NO 15.00 DOLLARS" . The other lady tried to tell her "no she didn't even get any meat in this soup". THIS WAS MY EXPERIENCE AT THIS RESTAURANT. I TRIED TO GIVE IT THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT SO I RETURNED AGAIN AND THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED!!!!! THE OWNER CHANGED MY PRICES ON THE SPOT! ITS NOT RIGHT TO CHARGE AMERICANS MORE. SET YOUR PRICES AND STICK TO THOSE PRICES UNLESS YOU CHANGE THE PRICES FOR EVERYONE.
