It smells so badly inside, I was going to try their food because they had great reviews, but it was just dirty and stinky like mildew and mold. And no way would I want to eat at the fear of any type of sickness or food poisoning

Not the first time I've had prime rib...but I'll never have it at Alex's place again...I can handle $38.99 for prime rib but for only one side and what seemed like 10 ounces not twelve and so salty that it lingered in your mouth and to only get margarine and not even butter for the baked potato, that's a shame! Don't bother saying anything about it because you'll only get an apology!

Alex's place is one of Port Richey's best kept secrets! We were there with a large group of 14 people and somehow the single waitress got the food out quickly, it was all perfect and everyone got what they ordered 1st try! Prime rib was the special that night but there was a spread of different entrees ordered. The prime rib was delicious, juicy, tender, flavorful and honestly the best I've ever had. How they accomplished this with our large group and several other customers is beyond me but i and the entire group were impressed. Many are long time customers and the person who invited us has this large dinner every year at Alex's. The entire meal was amazing, the environment was classy/casual if that makes sense and the waitress was a-ma-zing! It was definitely a memorable experience and we are definitely new, lifetime customers!

We waited 23 minutes for drinks, the beer was warm the mixed drink had no flavor except alcohol. The table top wobbled with a hot glass candle on top. Musty smell. We left without food. Prime rib special 12 oz is $38.

The several times we've eaten here the food was very good. We've had appetizers, sandwiches and the prime rib dinner and always take home a doggie bag. The bartender/waitress is very nice and attentive to the tables. She's always checking to see if you need any more drinks, napkins etc. We enjoy the pub atmosphere it's very cozy.

Happy Valentine's! I was very impressed with our special Valentine's dinner. The prime rib was amazing! The chef knows how to cook for sure! The staff was very attentive but let us enjoy the meal and be lovebirds! Wonderful evening!
