Had a breakfast burrito and a candy cane hot chocolate that was on the holiday menu. The hot chocolate was great. Service was top notch and friendly. Noticed the breakfast burrito was microwaved and premade. With that comes your normal inconsistency like the outside was hot but the inside was just a little warm. Overall decent. Would come back, the 3 stars is only for the microwaved food that was a little up there in price

Staying at John’s Pass Hotel on the floor above the shop for 9 days. Have been there every single morning for a breakfast burrito and some coffee. Every time, no matter who’s working, the service is exceptional! All of their ingredients are sourced locally and the difference can easily be tasted! Great place to come and support after the hurricanes! They need it more than the multi-billion dollar corporations!

Had a late lunch of a Turkey Sub and a Sausage, Egg and Cheese Croissant - both were excellent! Nice, small business atmosphere with good prices and a friendly staff. Definitely recommend!

EDIT: Came for breakfast coffee (great value at $3/large size) and a cheesecake swirl muffin ($3.50 and only so so). Still 5 star but go for the cooked croissant sandwich instead!

The La Dolce Vita Cafe in John’s Pass Village in Madeira Beach FL is the perfect place to start you day or get a pick me up at any time. The owner’s Brooklyn accent immediately let me know that my Everything Bagel would be excellent. He told me that he has them shipped in daily. I had bacon, egg and cheese on my breakfast sandwich and it was hot, soft and delicious. We were able to sit outside in the shade while eating and sipping our lattes.

The counters, tables and service areas were all clean and re-cleaned while we waited. Service was quick and friendly. The woman at the counter was patient while we made our selections and very helpful when we had questions.

The La Dolce Vita Cafe offers a full coffee service with flavors and styles to satisfy every coffee aficionado. In addition to coffee there is an outstanding selection of fresh baked pastries. Parking is an issue as it is a resort area. Expect to park somewhere, walk and shop as your make your way.

The non starter for me was the $25 2 hour minimum parking just to buy a $7 coffee. Thank goodness the app didn't work so I went in quickly to find their breakfast menu is limited to wraps which didn't look appetizing.

I gave my teen some cash to herself a coffee while I waited in the car without paying the $25 parking fee. For being such a small place I found it odd that it took a bit for the cashier to acknowledge we were there. And still asked us to wait to order ?.

If the place offered a better breakfast menu I might have paid the parking fee to have an enjoyable breakfast. This is more of a grab and go type of place.
