They're always friendly, approachable, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure each event runs smoothly.

The venue itself is stunning, with a beautiful outdoor space that offers a peaceful, natural setting. The tree canopy is especially magical and creates a perfect atmosphere for weddings, offering both beauty and shade. Our wedding day was everything we wanted! This venue allows you freedom to be creative which was a selling point for us. They recently purchased new chairs (SO pretty) and they definitely leveled up the space. If you’re not wanting a huge overwhelming event space I’d definitely go with Enchanted Acres. We also used Back Porch BBQ and DJ connection through the venue and they both were great! We were a little behind schedule and the DJ was super flexible.

This will always be my favorite venue in the Kansas City area. As a wedding photographer, I have photographed here multiple times and I even chose Enchanted Acres as the venue for my own wedding. The outside area cannot be beat. It's filled with lush greenery and a gorgeous reflective pond. The owners are also the nicest people ever and will work with you throughout your planning. Greg allowed my planning team and I to come out to the venue several different times leading up to the wedding. He was always willing to work with our schedules to make sure we were able to get what we needed. As a photographer, every corner of this place photographs beautifully. There is seriously not a bad place to photograph. Oh, I didn't even mention the fact that they have a bouncy castle. What?!!! It's so incredible. I can't wait to work here much more in the future!

Giving two stars because my fiancé and I were excited to have our vow renewal (basically wedding after eloping) here as the grounds were nice and the reception area was okay as well. It was not on the top of our list however, being that we were already going to be married and didn’t want to spend a fortune at our favorite, it was the more affordable option. The bridal suite is TINY and we were told bridesmaids can just get dressed in bathrooms… My first complaint, we visited the venue in the winter. We arrived early and the person we viewed with (Melissa) arrived right on time, that would have been fine except it is the middle of winter and they had not had the heat on for who knows how long and the venue was FREEZING. Like my grandmother caught a cold freezing. The ceremony portion isn’t the friendliest for handicap as there’s gravel and cobblestones and my grandmother was instructed to just go into the reception hall… where she froze and caught a cold the next day. Second complaint, we were put papers that listed out what would be included in your purchase. These would be incorrect. We purchased the “gold contract” because of the promise of vases and sunflowers. The contract then does not include those, Melissa will tell you it doesn’t afterward when you ask, and then when mentioning this she will just flat out ignore you. It will also say things are cheaper than they actually are, such as a DJ being 900 but when signing the contract for the DJ it is 900-1200… you can imagine which we were charged. Which leads me to my third complaint. Communication. We were never instructed that we ourselves had to reach out to the DJ to get the ball rolling until i explicitly asked because we had just signed away and started paying enchanted acres more money. I had told her 260 days in advance that we are having a baby and need to cancel the wedding. On February 17th I told Melissa(I guess the only person of contact) we needed to cancel our November 8th wedding because of an this amazing yet unforeseen event. A Saturday “prime time” wedding date that we know will be immediately rented out again for them to get even more money especially with over half a year left. Alas, she does not respond. I call her on the 20th when I still have no response as I am gathering this is not new for her. I then email her again after the phone so I can get in depth details, and she just sends me a picture of the contract as if I dont already have it. We did have the opportunity to reschedule with more money added. My fiancé and I seeing all these issues far in advance of this, and honestly just not liking who we’re dealing with and not wanting to give them a dime more cancelled. Losing out on our $500 deposit, and two payments adding up to almost $2,000. Which leads me to my last point. Yes, we signed saying we knew this would be the case. However, we were told we would never be able to have children therefore it wasn’t in our minds that something like this would ever happen. Like most things in life though, we were thrown a curveball. So I write this in hopes that someone else doesn’t sign the contract we did and save themselves the money of not using this venue.

This is from a vendor's perspective: I am a local videographer and have worked two weddings at this venue. Their team was so professional and easy to work with both times I’ve worked here. Enchanted Acres' wedding coordinator kept us ahead of schedule all day which helped me do a better job capturing the bride and groom. They are really good at what they do! I highly recommend them!

I recently attended a wedding at your venue, it was absolutely beautiful! However, I believe that if you don’t know you can’t fix it. So I have two suggestions for you, add some lighting in the furthest parking lot and maybe rethink the gravel steps next to the driveway as they were difficult to navigate.

Overall, a beautiful venue!
