I called last minute to see about a fruit and chocolates gift basket. To my surprise after speaking to Jerilyn she told me she would go out and shop and put together this beautiful gift basket for my parents for Christmas. She went above and beyond. I greatly appreciate her and I like to buy from small businesses because of the personal experience and support that they offer. Thank you!

Absolutely Love this place. I can get the best coffee drinks at almost anytime of the day, hot or cold. It's a perfect place for that last minute gift and her flowers last forever and are absolutely beautiful. Best of all, Jerilyn. Always has a smile on her face and you can tell she loves what she does. Our Carthage community is blessed to have The Flower shop.

I just stopped by going through town for a simple latte for my husband and I. I’m mystified by all these good reviews. After waiting over 15 minutes, I get up to the counter and see how dirty the whole coffee area is while she’s making my drinks. The milk frother had dried old milk on it and she proceeded to put our drinks into the dirty wand to froth our milk. I’ve worked with espresso machines before and I know that they must be cleaned after every use. It clearly wasn’t , if ever. There was dirty dishes everywhere and crumbs, the syrup bottles where covered in syrup. Just over all very unclean. I was grossed out. But after waiting so long I just wanted to get out of there. Then as she is making our drinks someone screams from the flower shop part, “who left this cash register on $16.50?” She stopped making our drinks and rushed back to talk to the other lady about the cash register in the floral part for like 5 minutes. Leaving me to wait even longer . Like really? That was more important than a customer that’s already been waiting an outrageously long amount of time? So ridiculous . Also, the prices were way too high in my opinion, a deflated cupcake for $6. A refresher drink for $7. That’s a lot. I finally got out to the car where my husband and kids were waiting for me for over 25 minutes. We tasted our lattes and they tasted like water. The absolute worst drink we’ve ever tried. Time and money wasted . Overall one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a coffee shop. We will not be back.

You can't get better than The Flower Shop and North Side Java. Jerilyn is more than amazing and makes the best drinks and the most gorgeous flower arrangements. Next time you're in need go visit her, you will not regret it!

Worse than bankers' hours. I called on Friday to order flowers at almost 5pm and they were closed. I called Saturday and they don't open till Monday. I'll have to find an alternative to get flowers delivered on Saturday, my mother's birthday. They may work well if you can conform your schedule to their hours.
