The service is horrible. I waited over 15 minutes for 4 drinks and a banana pudding
Then they got the drink wrong and wanna give me a attitude! Im confused why it would take that long for something that was already mad?! Yall really need to switch up.that energy! Be humble you got customers spending money with you, cuz onve you start with attitudes thats when you gonna lose money!

My friend sent me the Instagram reel showcasing their Kutie Shoe and I wanted to try it out. For those of you that aren't from the Chicagoland area, a Kutie Shoe is their version of the legendary Gym Shoe sandwich that consist of corned beef, gyros and Italian beef meat on a soft sub roll with lettuce, tomato and whatever other condiments you might want.

This was my first visit to Kuties. They have regular and frozen kool aid drinks. I waited about 25 minutes for my food but the wait is probably shorter if everyone is there but it was a one person crew for about 15 minutes so she did her best. I opted for the Glo(grape and lemonade mix) and it was good. A little sweet for my liking but that's because I like my kool-aid to have a bitter sweet balance but again it was good.

Now on to the Kutie Shoe.
The positives: The bread was soft yet toasted on the inside just right. As you can see, it is a good looking sandwich. It was tasty and filling.
The negative: Not enough balance of the three meats. The corned and Italian beef meat was scarce on the sandwich with shavings here and there. Majority of the sandwich consisted of gyros meat. Other Gym Shoes I've tried had a good balance with one not powering the others. I think if Kutie finds that balance, it'll be their best seller. I live in the city and could have gotten a Gym Shoe without the travel but I purposely traveled to Calumet City to try their version. I felt a little cheated but feel if I'm ever out that way, I'd stop by, I'll just make sure to ask them to balance it out. Also add napkins to the bags because most of us eat on the car & don't have em available. Overall, it was a decent experience.

I ordered the flaming hot Cheeto jerk ball. I did not see any cheese or chicken only rice .l also found a green pea in my food.

Walked in to try the hot Cheeto balls that my friend recommended. Cashier’s attitude is not good for business. Very unwelcoming for first time visitors. When I got my food the ball was falling apart and a bit under cooked and I waited 20 plus mins. 4 balls is about $35 - $40. Kinda pricey so I only got 2 one for me and one for my son. Don’t think I will return.

You are truly missing out if you're a fan of Corn beef!!! I love this sandwich because it's my first visit and I gambled on a sandwich I don't normally get. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was quiet outside of the music that was playing.

For 10.99 you get a regular cornbeef sandwich 👎🏽as I sat in the lobby waiting on my order one guy was hyping the place up, saying how good the food was. My sandwich was super dry for it to be corn beef. I won't do that again. I even told the girl who took my order that this was my first time there, so I expected more from her and the one who prepared my food.

I came here today October 31. The woman at the register had an extremely bad attitude within 1 minute of me ordering. The cashier Faithee stated that they was not making any more boudin balls with no explanation why. She went on with her nasty attitude. Then I asked for Alfredo she stated that she don’t think they are serving any pasta either overall the experience here was horrible I drove 30 minutes away because I seen a video on tik tok. I tried to call the store because arrived but the phone was cut off. It was about 50 people sitting in the small restaurant. After I asked about the phone line being disconnected she ended turning the phone back on. Do not waist your time coming here please the manager didn’t even apologize for the young woman behavior. Don’t spend your hard earned money!
