A delightful coffee house to sit with friends, study solo, or grab a coffee to go! Have been here a few times now, and every time, I've been extremely pleased with the polite service, the clean, pristine, and charming decor, and the delicious beverages. Have tried an almond mocha, a mint mocha, and a strawberry lemonade - would recommend all! A friend recently purchased the cinnamon roll muffin and shared with me - yum - deliciously rich and sweet! You won't be disappointed stopping here!

I was driving through town, and saw this great little coffee shop and decided to stop. I had an absolutely amazing vanilla latte. The best I have had in years. It was full of flavor and extremely delicious. I decided that I needed a little bit of a snack to go with it so I had a chocolate scone, it went extremely well with my coffee and was very good. I absolutely recommend stopping at the great coffee shop in Winfield anytime you have the chance. Their staff is friendly and fun and the building is beautiful and historic. Stop here you will not be disappointed!

My sister, cousin, and I have been driving the great river road and happened upon Common Grounds. To say we were lucky is an understatement! This place has some of the best coffee we have had on our trip, if not ever. The 18 hour cold brew is to die for! If you love delicious pastries, look no further.
The owners are absolutely fantastic and so welcoming. If you ever find yourself even remotely close to Common Grounds, do yourself a favor and stop in, you won’t regret it!

It's not just the great coffee and absolutely out of this world pastries that they offer, but the hospitality offered by the lovely couple who run this place that actually made it an oasis of a stop along our Great River Road trip. This place was so good and inviting that we went out of our way (literally) just to get one more sip of coffee at this truly wonderful coffee place. If you're driving by you will definitely miss out if you don't stop by!

Perfect location great service! Popped in here on my way to work greeted with smiling faces. Purchase a blueberry muffin absolutely delicious & a mocha iced coffee. Excellent spot to start your day!! Definitely stop in and try this place. Thank you for the great customer service!!! 😁☕🧁

Best coffee shop in Winfield, if not the whole county. Looks run-down from the outside, but once I entered, the shop is a glowing gem lantern, in a dark forest.

Coffee is very good, and the pastries are fantastic. The atmosphere is very nostalgic, and comforting.

I got the lock 25 latte. It was probablythe best latte I've had (not a huge coffee drinker and I don't get coffees out much). It was just right, not too sweet like the flavored ones sometimes are and not overpowered by the espresso.
