The food and atmosphere was amazing. Our server Chris was exceptional and attentive. I absolutely loved the Gin juniper berry tonic drink. Please keep this on the menu every fall/winter season. And the apple crisp was phenomenal as well; wish I could order a pan or it. Will be recommending to all my friends and family.

New place, liked it. I'm Gluten-free so they had some items, no bread, but went above and beyond so I could have some great food. Only complaint was the flour less tort that we spoke to the waitress about who said their pastry chef is fine so this was what they had. I never leave chocolate cake on the plate, so that was a first. I hope they get some gluten free bread and pasta options, and cocktail sause with horseradish for the oysters. I'll definitely come back. The service was amazing, the private rooms are great. Highly recommend! Very well priced!

This was my first time at Topaz Cafe and I must say, it was remarkable. Everything from the food & service to the atmosphere was 5 starts, imo. I recommend the short ribs entree and their seasonal dessert, cranberry bread pudding w/ the pistachio ice cream. FANTASTIC. I almost forgot to mention their top notch cocktails. All this for reasonable pricing. Highly recommend. 👏

This is a hidden gem!!! I live in the city and have friends in the southern suburbs and Burr Ridge is the best meeting spot and Topaz is phenomenal! We sat on the gorgeous outside patio. We had baked goat cheese, chalk flower, beer salad, peach salad and the beef brisket and it was PHENOMENAL! The service was so great too! Will definitely come back !

This was my first time dining here and it was a pleasurable one. We started out with a pre-dinner cocktail at the bar. I had a Chopin Vodka martini with blue cheese olives and it was made on point. My SO said his Negroni was good. The bartender was very pleasant.

Then we were seated at our table for dinner. We started with the baked goat cheese app and oysters. We got 3 raw oysters and 3 wood fired oysters. I'm glad our server told us we could do half and half of the oysters so we could try both preps. I preferred the baked option. The baked goat cheese app was delicious. It came with little crunchy pieces of toasts to dip and the cheese was very flavorful and gooey. I would get it again.

For my meal, I chose the Great Lakes Whitefish and got it simply grilled with the sauce on the side and substituted the risotto for green beans and carrots although I ended up getting green beans and spinach which was fine since I like spinach. I like places that let you customize your entrees or sub sides. It makes a huge difference and is much appreciated when you are at a restaurant spending a lot of money! My fish was light and tender and my overall entree was very good. My SO ordered the calves liver and onions, and said it was great. We also got an order of roasted smash potatoes to share. They were delicious too. Our server was attentive and super nice. The only thing I wish he would've done different was to bring out the complimentary bread and butter before the start of the meal so we could've had with our appetizers. He did bring us a complimentary dessert port wine which was very kind of him. Overall, we both had a great meal from start to finish, and we look forward to coming back again to try more dishes and cocktails.
