The Salvation Army is My home town church. My whole family has gone to this CHURCH. I needed Jesus Christ and There is peace and happiness inside God's love through Emmanuel Jesus Christ. Amen Hallelujah. Lets work more on that singing for God. Focus more on God's love for us all. Learn to love one another in Christ. Praying and Asking God forgiveness is a MUST!!!! Amen

I feel this county doesn't do half of what other salvation army's do.... I mean it's hard to get decent help in Kankakee County without jumping thru some BIG HOOPS. OUR SECTION 8 HASN'T BEEN OPEN IN YEARS ALMOST A DECADE.

But I did stop in there the other day there was a new guy in there. He was a ton of help. There was even a lady there after time and he still insisted on helping her too. I heard him saying that he was going to be doing the gift donations this week also it was just above and beyond that the guy did I forget his name but I would like to give kudos to that man, but like I said before I really feel that this county is a hard county to get help in when you slip and fall and could use some.
