Recently attended the CCL course from Guardian Concepts. Overall the course was well structured! The amount of in depth information provided, throughout the 2 day course, was exactly what one needs to meet state standards. However Guardian Concepts goes above and beyond and will make sure you leave the course having every question answered! John and his associates, ensure that you are receiving a more personal experience overall. Highly recommend this to anyone new or with seasoned experience to attend their courses! -Frankie

I recently completed my CCL training through Guardian Concepts, and I am beyond impressed with the experience. The instructors don’t just meet the state required minimum standards they go above and beyond to ensure you leave the course with real-world knowledge and practical skills.

What truly set this experience apart was how they treated me like a student, not just a customer. Their focus was on ensuring I fully understood the material and felt confident in applying it, rather than simply rushing through the requirements. The instructors incorporated real-life scenarios and shared personal experiences to make the lessons more engaging and relatable, which made a lasting impact.

My mom and I completed the CCL class with John and his team. I was worried what 16 hours was going to be like for this, but I can honestly say it was enjoyable and I absorbed some of their passion for this lifestyle. John is very personable and shares his experience. He does his best to prepare you for that worst case scenario in case you do ever have to pull the trigger. On day 1, you're in the classroom, and there's also a simulator which was awesome. And on day 2 of training, you don't just stand and shoot at a piece of paper. He incorporates drills to help you become a better shooter: emergency reloads, movements... his team was out there at the range with us to help monitor and answer questions. They really helped my mom with her shooting which was so appreciated. They have safety procedures in place so you didn't have to worry. We all seemed to have a good time.

I would 110% recommend Guardian Concepts. And there are so many other classes that John offers, and they're all at such an affordable price. I'm looking forward to continuing my training and bringing others back with me.

I couldn’t be happier with my experience I had with the Gaurdian CC class. These guys are extremely qualified and make the learning experience fun. I learned more than I expected and enjoyed the range drills. They also set you up for your future as a concealed carrier. I was disappointed in myself when I signed up for a place that was an hour away and found out I could have got the class done 10 minutes away.. until I took the class. It doesn’t get much better I imagine! Thanks guys! I’ll be back for more classes!

This past Sunday, the 29th, I completed the 16 hr CCL class with John, Steve, Chris, and co... These guys, along with all the others that gave their time to train us, are incredible. Knowledgeable, patient, and kind. The course was well taught, easy to understand, and any and all questions were answered with patience and kindness. I feel more prepared to protect my family than ever and will most certainly go back for more training. Would easily pay double what they require for the CCL Class and there's no doubt that any other training they offer will follow suit. Highly reccomend.

We took the conceal and carry illinois required class this weekend. To say it was amazing is an understatement. The knowledge and credentials that this establishment upholds is superior. Thank you for making it so enjoyable as well as starting a great friendship moving forward. 5 stars and then some.

The CCL class was phenomenal! The instructor went above and beyond to get you comfortable with you firearm and I trust that I learned so much more in this class than I would have anywhere else. Truly a great experience!
