Almost every day, you can find at least one of my family members here. Although it is relatively small, they offer so much: great book and electronic resources, meeting rooms, a kid's activity space, a used book shop, and excellent programming including an adult summer reading program with amazing prizes, 3d printing, a computer lab, plus much more. They are fabulous with inter-library loaning, which makes their resources almost limitless. The staff is overall friendly and helpful, the bathrooms are spotless, and the parking lot feels safe (although it could use some maintenance).

I couldn't find the card file but other than that they're extremely nice and helpful. I enjoyed the two hours I spent exploring.

Even though I no longer live in Antioch I still find myself stopping in for a look around and a visit to the bookstore when I am in town. I grew up going to this library and I still love it. I use the Antioch Public Library to gage other libraries and it is a tough one to beat. I wish I had this library where I currently live!

Since the renovation this has become a safe and wonderful place to go with my child. The staff is very helpful and the library is always clean. From Legos to learning puzzles and fun nooks to hide in to read.

It's never too early to take the kids. It will be a fun time for you both.

Really disappointed with my experience at this library.
To begin, the librarian looked annoyed upon approaching her to ask where to find the holds I had put on for my 4 year old, but okay, maybe she was busy.
I found the books and went to check them out, at which point I was told I could not do so because our library card is in his dad's name, and too bad. There was no suggestion of any other way to check out the books. (Like, can my 4 year old get a card?)

Next time I'll make sure not to ask anyone for help (and just use the self checkout, as I'm sure the busy librarian would prefer.)

I am really trying to raise a child who loves libraries and reading, but being sent away so rudely doesn't make that a very promising endeavor.

I love it I love going with with my friends and hanging out in the teen room or we will go go the little kid’s second and play with the Lagos if there are not kids playing with them but over all it is better than before like a lot better

I moved to Antioch about 4months ago & took my daughter to obtain her first library card. My daughter was so excited and the lady who helped us was so nice, my daughter got to choose a free bookmark from an assortment and even got a free ice cream cone card for McDonald's. On one of our trips back to the library I needed 2 different books that were seeming almost impossible to obtain, Antioch library did not have the books but fortunately the librarian who was helping me took the time to search for another library that did. She said it may take a bit of time to find another library with the books, so in the meantime another librarian helped my daughter in the kids section in finding a book she'd like, the librarian was so helpful, kind and patient with my daughter (my daughter is 8 and kind of shy). As soon as my daughter seen a set of books she was reading with her class at school she got so excited and started telling the librarian all about them to which the librarian enjoyably listened. When we left the first librarian said she'd make sure I was notified when they located the books I needed. The very next morning she called me saying she came across 2 different libraries, one of them had one of the books and the other library had the other. She told me she would get it in the system ASAP and as soon as the books were there I could be emailed or called to let me know, I opted for both options. Within a very timely manner i was notified that the books were there for my pick up. I know the library is closed right now due to remodeling but I love going to the library and can't wait for them to reopen so my daughter and I can start going again and see what kind of programs or classes they have to offer!!!!
