The facility the Village rebuilt is very nice. Too bad the Aquatics management is self centered, argumenative, and on some sort of a power trip.

She is quick to blame her decisions on the Village, and always states to call them on Monday.

The lifeguards on the other hand are maintaining a high level of professionalism to make safety #1.

If you can tune out the nonsense of the management, it is a great place to watch the children have fun.

They need new management. We tried going on 7/6 when it started raining shortly after noon. We were good the pool would reopen at 3:30 pm. We called before leaving the house and didn't get an answer. We drove to the pool anyway as we figured staff may have been getting things ready. Upon arriving to the pool, there was a note on the window starting "will reopen at 3:30 pm due to weather". We waited until 4 pm and no one ever showed up. No one answered the phone, the website wasn't updated and no one from the pool came to remove the sign. We watched four other families come and go. Do better, Antioch Aquatic Center.

I'd like to send a shout out to the lifeguards at the Antioch pool. my grandson had an episode with his ice cream cone and the representative lifeguards Carly and Scarlett were very concerned and went and got the manager Miranda she took my grandson in the office and made sure he was okay gave him water and her assistant lifeguard Carter also helped. Thank you for your quick response and for your expertise

i strongly dislike this pool. they are constantly changing their rules and the lifeguards are always whistling at people for every single thing. we went multiple times already this summer with my 3 year old and her admission was free. the first time we went the money taker specifically asked her manager who was right next to her confirm that children within the year of 3 are free and i heard the manager say yes. several visits later and the money taker tells me that only up to age 2 is free. i tell her about the other manager saying it was age 3 and she refuses to believe me and charges me full price. then, inside the pool, my oldest is whistled at for going down the slide. despite having gone down this slide literally hundreds of times in the past many times we’ve come for some unknown reason the lifeguard said she was now too tall. really? she wasn’t too tall the previous 20 times she had gone down it that same day. overall i strongly dislike the lack of communication about the rules and the fact that it seems each lifeguard has a different set of rules and regulations and no one is on the same page.

I just happen to come across some recent reviews and want to share my experiences. First, I see some mention of the managers. I have become a pretty regular member with my kids and I have seen why they have to be strict and stern. These young adults are in charge of human beings. They are there to make sure you have a safe and fun experience and THEY DO! There are hundreds of little ones who pass through daily. If they don’t keep blowing whistles and saying “hey bud don’t do that” your littles would be running and diving and not following rules thus putting them at risk for injury! I don’t mean to be harsh but maybe if you had your own whistle and you told your own kids not to run or go the wrong way or not break all the rules.STAFF wouldn’t have to? I find it silly someone can say the staff are on a “power trip” yet the parents sit and do NOTHING or get attitude with staff for trying to keep YOUR kids safe! Seriously. Every year I come back to the pool and I am amazed and grateful at how well trained and capable these lifeguards and staff are. Sure here and there I’ve seen some goofing off and maybe a few extra whistles being blown and yeah some of the lifeguards are more strict than the others but you know what? that’s because humans have variety.. that’s because it’s summertime and these kids are working AND building lifelong friendships and experience. Give them a break and watch your own kids and you’ll see that you might have a better experience yourself. I also want to mention cleanliness. I have visited a lot of pools and I do have to say this is one of the cleanest facilities I have ever been to. So not only are these staff members keeping this place in working order they are also keeping up with the many regulations when it comes to pool facility cleanliness. I’ve noticed a few people talking about food and drink. As someone who’s allergic to bees, please follow the simple signs and simple rules when it comes to not bringing food past the food eating area. You wanna talk about staff having attitudes but you can’t read a sign? You’re showing your kids that even though there’s a huge sign that says don’t bring food that you’re gonna bring your picnic packed lunch into the back and then leave ice cream for everybody to step on that bring bees and ants and wasps into the lounging area? It sounds like a parent issue and not a staff issue. By the way, you can bring water into the facilities. Stop making things up. If you don’t understand the rules please ask. There’s a huge sign! Even though I’ve been there for like 14 years I continue to read the signs just to make sure I’ve got it right because why not teach my kids that following rules (especially if they don’t harm anybody and are in place to better those around you and yourself) are important! Let me reiterate: you are allowed to bring in your own water. They want you to be hydrated. They want you to be healthy. I also saw someone complaining about the price. I think it’s a simple mistake and often misinterpreted when a rule says 3/under are free. Maybe one had the rules wrong but you know if they made a mistake and your kid got in for free and now they can’t.think of that as saved money. If it’s the other way around maybe you politely go to Management or the village and request your money back.I have learned over the years that you definitely get more in life by being kind to people. Note: staff does not control rain, poop, puke or holidays! Please be kind. I do also want to say that I have seen so many members of the staff being harassed, yelled at, mocked, and blatantly disrespected and ignored by grown adults right in front of their children. Guess what? They keep their cool! So when I see some say staff might’ve had attitude I often wonder “what did the parent do?” Just something to think about. I have medical issues and can’t walk well at times. Staff has assisted me and always ask how I’m doing. Very accessibility/disability friendly. I feel like home there. I invite ALL to check out the Antioch Aqua Center. One of me and my kids’ fave spots!

This place is nice but all of the lifeguards literally suck out all of the fun of coming here. Every single lifeguard is high on authority here. Damn near all of the rules here make no sense. And the stupid 10 minute break every hour on the hour is pointless. How’s it that my 5 year old daughter can jump off the diving board but not go on the slide that drops you into a 3ft pool? I hate it here. Left here and went to the lake. Save your money and go somewhere else. F this place and all the lifeguards.

Great pool for lap swimming and the kids have a blast here! Management is solid and stays busy interacting with patrons. Some of the office staff seems a little dour but they are helpful when asked. Guards on duty are always attentive and firm with the kids, but not overbearing.
It's not a massive pool, but it's still large. The circular cutout is always(!) rolling and you can see genuine glee in the faces of the kids playing in there!
Would recommend! Well worth the cost of the season pass!!!
