I don’t ski but my bf does. He had a great time! Was very easy for him to get almost 30,000 ft in not even a whole day. He said the lodge is beautiful with stunning bathrooms. Same company that owns Snow Basin.

I snow show shoe and there is a trail right off the parking for snowshoeing, walking or cross country skiing.

Had a wonderful time.

For those that are staying at the resort…. Downside is you will have to take a shuttle and then a bus to the ski resort:

Amazing terrain - something for everyone from steep groomers, to powdery trees and even some fun rock features if you want to get sendy.

Amazing happy vibes with a well appointed lodge and a mature crowd - have never met so many ripping 70+ year olds!

Recommend the new Seattle ridge area as well as Frenchman’s for some really fun off piste glades!

Also fun place to wear amazing ski outfits - style is off the charts!

A beautiful historical property. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean with comfortable beds. There’s also a bowling alley so don’t miss out!

Amazing place! However, beginners beware! There is only one true green on Bald mountain. Everything else is VERY Blue or higher! If you have difficulty on blue runs at other resorts then Dollar mountain is for you.

Sun Valley was absolutely great to ski at! There were barely any crowds in late December and the snow and trails were awesome. They have Dollar Mountain for beginners and Baldy for more advanced skiers. I would definitely return and recommend it.

My family and I love a road trip to Sun Valley each year. We usually go late in the season so spectacular spring skiing is enjoyed by all. The runs never end. One fall line for miles and miles, wheew.
