It's an outdoor skating rink all year long and it's so pretty and so much fun!!! We had a great time!!

This could have been a rating of 5 if they had decent management. It’s such a shame when a company has employees with poor customer service and are clearly not happy about being at their job. Well that’s Sun Valley Management and although I’ve gone to them on two separate occasions all I heard was “oh so sorry” but they don’t make any changes. The management at the rink ( Scott) seems to go out of his way to be mean to the coaches and rude to the students. It’s uncomfortable to be around and now the refrigeration system is broken so - no more skating for any of us. The best was how they told everyone- I’ll post the picture. This is what Scott did, then locked the doors rather then text the coaches and say “ hey, don’t come to work today”. Nice.
Sun Valley’s whole mission statement is about hospitality. Well Jen Uhrig and Scott seemed to go out of their way to make people uncomfortable.

Three letters, WOW! Another three letters for you, OMG. We stumbled upon some ice dancers practicing at the ice rink, a befuddling sentence to read as we came across the ice rink in early September. The only outdoor ice rink that is open year-round in the U.S., it was a delightful surprise. The dancers have to be professional, their talent left my jaw on the floor. Thank you ice dancers, you are inspiring!

What can you say about 24/7/365 outdoor ice skating? A great way to spend a couple of hours. Mingle with other guests from around the world, chat with the friendly staff. Pretty good rental skates, too.

Staff was grumpy and not helpful. I got yelled at to wait outside even though i had a mask on and there was no sign about maximum capacity, and there was only 1 other guest inside. It set the tone for the entire time and I won't be going back.
