This library was peaceful for my son’s studying, he needed to study for his exam last minute and we decided to go to the place . We borrowed books and fortunately it is perfect!

It's a cute little library, but compared to my old small-town library (American Falls) it falls rather short. They charge country folks (anyone outside of city limits) $45 a year for a membership, but they tell you when you sign up that they don't do late fees. Which in theory is ok however the checkout times are very short (in comparison to my old library) and they don't auto renew you enough times in my opinion (my old library auto renewed your books twice). This results in books being "late" rather quickly for those of us outside of town. Which wouldn't be a big deal except if your book is more than a month late you get a threatening letter telling you they're going to file petty theft charges if you don't return the books in 15 days. Rather extreme reaction over a couple children's books that have only been out of the library for a few months. When you only make it over to town once a month at best their policies make it rather difficult to be a happy patron.

It would be nice if A) rental times were longer
B) your books auto renewed more than once
C) they just dropped the annual fee and charged folks late fees

Bottom line: I miss my old library.

I haven't been to this library for a few years. It's such a great little library. Always friendly staff. If they don't have the book you want they can probably get it for you.
