Great when it’s not busy. The busy hours fluctuate throughout the semester, so it’s difficult to judge when to go. If it’s busy, you’ll often see moms with strollers or toddlers walking and talking (love them—they’re usually very conscientious), or old ladies walking together in groups, spanning across the entire track, blocking the running lanes and making it impossible to get a good jog going. Some will even have the nerve to look offended when you say “excuse me” and try to run past. BUT most of the time, it’s pretty decent, and people will get out of your way and respect your pace if you’re running or walking faster than them. As far as clothing goes, you can wear almost whatever you want, even though it says that you’re supposed to wear BYUI approved gym clothing after 7:30 AM. I have never had a problem with getting dress-coded. My only other complaint is that the sports taking place downstairs can make it difficult to hear your headphones if you don’t have noise canceling ones, but only when it’s super busy down there (usually at night). Overall, this is a good place.

Good place specially when it's not busy. From my experience that's the weekend or before noon. I personally love basketball (even though I'm white and 5'9)

Even saw like a 4'3 guy balling it up. Good stuff.

Great place to run, walk, or exercise. Not too crowded most days, and lots of room for everyone. Lockers and a water fountain are close by and not too far from changing rooms and bathrooms

It definitely helps people to improve on their skill and talent if they have a love for the game of basketball the people who work there are awesome they are very kind and will always be willing to help you the best they can

Awesome during the winter. You must have a BYU-Idaho identification number, and BYUI-approved exercise clothes to play/run.
