I love Cafe Artista. It's reasonably priced, the staff are always very friendly, and frankly I think it's great that they so boldly project their love and support for the LGBTQ+ community and women's rights. They're not the only coffee shop in town which does this, but I think they do a much better job of it.

My only complaint is the variety of food. I would love this place even more if there were a wider selection of food, but I do not think they can or want to have a kitchen running all the time.

Great atmosphere, great people, great coffee. I've been visiting Cafe Artista semi-regularly for almost 10 years and I don't see that stopping anytime soon.

Loved this cafe. Great pecan buns, wonderful to find English (British) Breakfast tea, good coffee, comfy chairs, interesting theme surroundings, friendly service. A must go in Moscow.

I usually love this place but today was… tough. I brought my mom here for an afternoon pick me up and it was understandably busy. We order two drinks and wait. The first one is done within two minutes. We wait another 10 for the next drink, before we see a man walk up and tell the barista that he received the wrong drink (which he had been drinking). The drink he received was the one my mom was waiting for.

The barista took the cup he had been drinking of, and without a second thought, she called my name for my mom to pick it up. We are so glad we happened to be watching the whole interaction, because we were able to stop and say “wasn’t this the cup he was just drinking out of?”. The barista with short curly hair and headphones on her neck proceeded to practically roll her eyes when we pointed this out, before finally remaking the drink. No one apologized.

I can understand being busy, what I can’t understand is intentionally giving a paying customer a drink that someone else has already partially enjoyed, just to save time. I was extremely disappointed in Cafe Artista today and embarrassed that I chose to bring my mom here out of all the great places Moscow has to offer.

A Moscow fav this quaint cafe offers a variety of delightful sweet confections as well as some savory fare. The cappuccino was delicious according to my seasoned friend who explained to me how they drink and how to experience a proper capp.

I've loved this little local shop for about a decade now! In college it was a great space to go study/work. Now I love stopping by their walk-up window when I have both my dog and toddler. But one super neat thing they recently added is a little room in the back for kids/toddlers to play. Love that they saw a need and made a kid/parent friendly space! The baristas are always friendly/kind too

I went here in 6 months ago and it was great. We had guests in town and took them here because we loved it but this time it was dissapointing. We all got large lattes but they tasted like warmish milk; maybe there was only 1 shot of espresso in them? Or none? I got a special flavor, but the raspberry was congealing with the milk, so they graciously remade a latte but it just wasn't tasty. The baristas were all very nice, we were just bummed the lattes were lackluster and we didn't like the pastries. We also were surprised that they moved all the kid toys to a back small room... we couldn't all go back there and it was small and dirty. We had gone to this place because we remembered the kids could play while the adults talked. We ended up just heading out to walk around. Maybe it was just a tricky day to visit? We spent $46 and tip, about $13 a person after tip. It was full of other people, so it's a popular place.

It's a nice cafe in the center of Moscow. It's clearly an LGBTQ+ inclusive space, which offers a nice haven within this town. They have a nice selection of puzzles to choose from and plenty of seating. The only thing that bothered me was when I visited, there was a vagrant man who was very unwashed, asleep in a chair in the hallway leading to the bathrooms. As someone with a very sensitive nose, it was very unpleasant to have to walk past him twice to use the toilet. While I support giving shelter to the homeless, it would have been nice if I wasn't forced to smell him like that. Anyway, this cafe is a great spot and I recommend it to all inclusive people.
