Starting BJJ at 45yrs old I’m way late to the game but the Aloha Roll Academy made me feel welcome from day one, I just celebrated one year of survival, I’m on the white belt journey.

The space is Very Clean, Professional Instructors, Consistent Teammate’s, Variety of classes, Gi, No Gi, Privates, Open Mat, Plenty of Parking, Drinks & Snacks, EMT Certified and located directly in Lahaina.

One of the things that really earned my respect is that ARA are truly focused on community fundraising from within during belt promotions for the kids to sponsor them to compete on the mainland and beyond. The support for the kids is just awesome and the food is always ridiculously delicious during those celebrations! I will never forget receiving my first stripe!

The seminars from Professors visiting the island have also been a very cool bonus to membership. I could go on and on but best you come check it out for yourself. I look forward to meeting you on the mat!

Thank you Professor Gilberto and team for helping me GROW, IMPROVE my LIFE and for allowing me to feel included in the amazing ARA Ohana, it’s been an incredible year!

My sister and I are visiting from Philadelphia and dropped in for a 10 am class. I’ve been training for 16 years all over the United States and have never had a better experience as a drop in visitor. The class was so fun but challenging in the sense that it was a non stop hour of movement. We started with takedowns and then hit the floor. They packed so much into a 90 minute class. I’m so happy I dropped in. If you’re in Maui and you train Jiu Jitsu, you NEED to take a class here.

I dropped in to aloha roll academy while on vacation in Maui. I had a wonderful experience. Head coach Gilberto was very welcoming and everyone there was extremely friendly. I got a great lesson and great rolls in. Thank you Aloha Roll ?

The professors and students were beyond kind and accommodating. I travel to a lot of BJJ gyms as I fly a lot and I would highly recommend it for drop ins or full time training. Very clean facility and centrally located. Thank you Aloha Roll Academy!!

Aloha Roll Academy is a great place to learn Jujitsu! It has a great community and is so welcoming. I was intimidated when I went in the first time, but feels like family? now! It’s a awesome Academy! Professor Gil, his wife/partner Linda and their team are outstanding!! Highly recommend!! ?

Been training under Professor Gilberto for six years and have been loving my journey so far. Plenty classes to attend throughout the week Sunday through Friday. There’s also a perfect view of the sunset through the windows, makes for a picturesque location to train. Team of instructors super chill and very knowledgeable, plenty things you can learn from every class. Yessah Aloha Roll team
