The food was so delicious! We are so excited to continue returning to try everything on the menu. Everything was fresh, tasty, and satisfying. This is such a special spot you can taste the love that goes into the cuisine and the tables and murals are simply stunning. 1,000% recommend!

My BLT Wrap was excellent. The potatoes & lemon dill dressing delicious!
Quite filling. I could only manage half. Looks like it’ll be for lunch tomorrow too.

The Veli is easily accessed from the adjoining Pahoa Village Hostel courtyard; with soothing tropical murals.
Cleanliness is above reproach.

Ok, really yummy food here! Lots of gluten free options and the food is super fresh! We love eating outside and love all the artwork painted all around. Cant wait to try more.

My son introduced me to the Veli and my husband and I love it. I usually get the nachos with a side salad, the portions are generous, and the food is delicious. I love the lime cilantro dip/dressing

Great food! There's no refined sugar in any of their items (good job you guys!!) ? it was my first time in and I got the BLT. Loved the flavor and lightness. The ambiance is super cute. I will definitely be back to eat here whenever I'm in pahoa

After chasing waterfalls all day, we arrived back in downtown Pāhoa hoping for a good pescatarian dinner option. Unfortunately, a few of the places we bookmarked closed earlier than advertised. Despite the fact that their kitchen was also getting ready to close, the staff at the VELI were super warm, welcoming and eager to accommodate us. Even though I previously had my heart set on fish, I loved my veggie “sushi” wrap and local kombucha, and enjoyed having a peaceful dinner with my partner and resident kitty on the lush back patio. We also appreciated the very reasonable pricing, as dining out for a week in Hawai’i can add up real quick. Mahalo for keeping your doors open and cooking delicious food for two worn-out, hungry hikers!

Super stoked to have this new addition to Pahoa town! Immediately upon walking in I fell in love with the vibes, perfect murals on the walls, beautiful tables, cozy atmosphere with a good music selection. Weather was perfect and it had just stopped raining so we chose to eat in the outdoor seating area out back, and soon noticed the resident cat watching us. We called him over and were delighted to have him as a guest for our lunch.

Partner and I both got burritos (I got the jackfruit one), a premade “chicken” bowl from the fridge, and a berry smoothie. All were delicious!! The burrito had super fresh veggies in them and were both filling and tasty, the side of fried potatoes (I got the cilantro-lime sauce) were fantastic, and the smoothie was great!

Staff were all super friendly and welcoming, and they stock my favorite hot sauce so that’s a plus too! Looking forward to trying everything else they have!
