My family and I have visited this area numerous times but this is the first time we have visited this restaurant. I had my doubts trying a Mexican restaurant in Hawaii coming from Denver Colorado where there are hundreds of Authentic Mexican restaurants to choose from. I cannot tell you how pleased I was with the experience we had here. The service was amazing. Our waitress couldn't have been more attentive. She was wonderful. We never had to wait for anything. We were seated right across from the bar and got to watch the bartender make drinks. Very efficient. We never had to worry about an empty drink ? glass or an empty water glass. My margarita was amazing. The tequila flight is a must try. The salsa flight I would also recommend. Great selection and nice presentation. We will definitely be back. Can't believe we haven't tried them sooner.

The Real Deal is Mekiko Cantina which delivers on every level. The service was amazing, staff was really knowledgeable about the menu and on top of the drink refills. The atmosphere was casual, mid-high level tequila bar and restaurant. Now to the main Event “the Food,” Guacamole & Two Salas Flight was really tasty 8.5/10. Mexican food is my most tasted food so I hold my rating from high standard. The Watermelon Margarita was solid 8/10. The Macho Mekiko Burrito with carne asada was really good being out on the islands. The meat was really good solid 8/10 and same the entire burrito. The Kalua Carnitas was amazing which I had high hopes since the pork reminded me of a Hawaiian cook out. The meat was perfectly cooked with crispy outside and moist inside 9/10. All the sides to the carnitas were great besides the corn tortillas were just ok, overall 9.5/10 meal. Can’t wait to come back to this spot and try more of the menu!

Came for lunch with our 8 month old. We sat outside next to the beautiful golf course, our server Jennifer was extremely kind and helpful. I had the birria tacos and my wife had the pollo enchiladas, both of us were saying this could be the best Mexican we've ever had. Great price for the amount of food as well. Highly recommended!

We stopped by here for dinner during our stay at Aulani. The food is good and the prices are also very good. We tried the salsa flight and burritos.

Everything was great. Service was fast and friendly (our server Same was great).

If you are staying in the area, definitely give them a try.

Modern cantina vibes. Food is delicious. Salsas are delicious and if you ask for spicy you get spicy. Tacos were deliciously seasoned generous sized. Enchiladas were delicious with a generous portion of rice and beans.

Even though I wanted chips and salsa to be included everything was perfect. Margaritas are awesome and dangerous. Highly recommend.

Right across the street from the Aulani and 4 Seasons resort. Easy walking distance with a cross walk. They have outdoor and indoor seating. My daughter had the birrie tacos, which she loved. I had the street tacos which were beautiful and delicious. We also had margaritas her opting for the Habanero margarita and I had the prickly pear margarita. Service was super quick and friendly and made us feel appreciated. We also got the 3 flight nachos and salsa and the chips were fresh.

From Angel’s initial sincere greeting, Jennifer’s exceptional service, the live local music and the very flavorful, delicious food - this location should earn TEN stars! We went in expecting a basic Cal Mex experience but our interactions with staff, then the food (which everyone is still raving about) and then the outdoor patio ambiance and music by Overcrowded Avenue made it a very enjoyable evening. Great job!
