Delicious home style Korean fare - they were short staffed so several menu items were not available including the bingsu. However the seafood pancake was worth the trip by itself and the meat jun was delicious. We stuffed ourselves and had a lot left over; for two people, one entree and one seafood pancake would have been more than plenty.

The place seems to have seen better days, in the clean but ragged sort of way that usually indicates a good meal ahead. There’s a serviceable bathroom but maybe try to time your visit so you don’t have to use it (door didn’t lock, floor felt sticky, it was around a dark corner in a horror movie storage room, etc) however it was fine and didn’t feel unsanitary or anything. I would definitely visit again!

힐로에서 우연히 가게된 한식 전문점. 오랜만에 먹은 한식이라 너무 맛있었다. 한국인은 거의 없고 현지인이 더 많다. 포장해서 가는 손님이 더 많다.

제육볶음하고 김치찌개 주문했는데, 타지에서 먹은 것 치고는 훌륭했다. 김치찌개에 돼지고기가 없어서 아쉽긴했지만, 김치와 두부의 맛은 좋았다.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Rude waitress with awful attitude. Sour face all the time. No water was served until 15 min of waiting so we had to specifically ask. She was unhappy about that too. No napkins we offered for the meal, I got a paper towel in the bathroom. As stated on the door, the food took a long time to come out but was tasty. Small portions. We didn’t dare to ask for additional bunchan as we assumed a bad attitude from the server. Very loud table of young girls next to us spoiled the atmosphere too. I don’t recommend.

Small menu = higher quality. We enjoyed the thick, savory kimchi pancake, the comforting honey chicken and the banchan. Big portions! Service was super friendly! Only 5 4-top tables in this restaurant and they have AC now. We would come here again; this place slaps!

힐로 여행 중 한식이 먹고싶어서 갔는데 딱 한국 집밥 느낌의 한식이어서 너무 잘먹었어요! 아직 오픈하신지 오래되지않은 것 같더러구요~ 부모님 모시고 갔는데 맛있어서 투고로 저녁도 사갔는데 너무 맛있었어요 ^^

So glad we happened to find this place in Hilo! The food was amazingly tasty and filling. We ordered a pancake and one of the spicy pork dishes. This was one of our favorite meals on the island. There are a handful of tables available inside, and they were almost all taken while we were there. Obviously everyone knows how great this place is!

Would highly recommend eating here!

Upon arriving at 630 pm (they close at 8pm) they had us wait for 20 minutes before stating that they have ran out of rice. While we waited outside, they flipped the open/close sign to close which made us feel as if we had to leave. Terrible service, do not recommend what so ever.

I had the Bibimbap which had some wonderful authentic ingredients. I also enjoyed the Bingsu too. Definitely, ,not a "fast food" type Korean cuisine. It's also a very cozy, small cafe with a friendly staff. Will definitely return again.
