Da Beans Green Coffee Cafe is a cozy breakfast and coffee stop along the way to see the volcano craters.

They specialize in non roasted green coffee beans directly from the coffee farm down the road. It's a unique take to the coffee and tastes like a smooth tea.

Host greeted us and walked us through the menu. Ordered the smoked salmon bagel which was amazing. The salmon is lumped in with the cream cheese and also ordered an egg to go with it. And also ordered the truffle avocado toast which was also amazing. Nice truffle taste but not overpowering and then also ordered an egg to go on top. Then to top it off ordered the Creamy Moevhane (Dream) drink.

Definitely a nice stop to enjoy coffee or come in for breakfast. Nice cozy vibe!

May not have access to bathroom if there is an event going on.

Parking is free right next to entrance.

Absolutely loved this place. The food (smoked salmon bagel sandwich & ultimate bfast Sammie) were incredible. The owner was super friendly and hospitable. The cold brew was great. They didn’t have any raw green coffee available at visit but I surely would’ve tried some if they did. Can’t recommend this spot enough if someone’s looking for bfast or coffee otw to/from volcanos national park or Hilo

We recently had the pleasure of visiting Da Beans Green Cafe, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience. This cafe is a hidden gem, offering a truly authentic approach to coffee and cuisine that is rare to find.
From the moment we stepped in, it was evident that the chef here is a true artisan. His passion for his craft shines through every detail. Our visit marked our first time trying raw coffee, and what a revelation it was! The natural taste of the coffee, meticulously prepared, was a delight to our palates. It’s not often you come across a place where the appreciation for coffee’s intrinsic flavors is so deeply ingrained.
But the magic didn’t stop at the coffee. The food at Da Beans Green is an experience unto itself. We indulged in the avocado truffle toast and the breakfast burrito, and both dishes were nothing short of spectacular. Every dish is a masterpiece, balancing flavors in a way that only someone who truly loves what they do can achieve. Each bite was a symphony of tastes, harmoniously blended to elevate our dining experience to an entirely new level. The meticulous attention to detail and the evident love with which the food is prepared make meal unforgettable.
In my opinion, Da Beans Green Cafe is deserving of a Michelin star. The exceptional quality of the food, the unparalleled coffee experience, and the chef’s dedication to his craft make it a standout destination. If you appreciate the finer things in life and have a passion for genuine, expertly prepared food and coffee, Da Beans Green is a must-visit.

Hidden gem on the way to Hilo! The breakfast food & raw coffees are delicious! Enjoyed this cozy cafe & learned about raw coffee!

I tried the Breakfast Sammich Deluxe & my Fiancé had the Savory Smoked Salmon Bagel with a fried egg. We also tried the Creamy Moeuhune & Delectable Duo raw iced coffees!

Highly recommend this place!

The truffle oil, avocado toast was the best avocado toast I’ve ever had and my husband said his mac nut cinnamon roll was exceptional. It was also fun to try his raw probiotic coffee. He said that’s the only place on the island that does it. I definitely recommend this café and we will absolutely stop in for breakfast again while we are visiting.

we stopped here for a quick bite & coffee and let me tell you…. AMAZING! the raw coffee, with a hint of pistachio was great and the salmon bagel was *chefs kiss*. The owner was friendly and informative. Highly recommend!
