We visited the Towns County Recreation Center for the 4th annual Made in Georgia Festival. There was a lot of food vendors outside and many more craft booths inside. The entry fee for adults was $5.00 each, but children 14 and under are free. There is plenty of parking on site and great views of the mountains.

I love this place. I work out and walk upstairs. I live here part time. But I’m so happy to have a place to come . I do however think if the rules are posted they should be followed .I am however very concerned about the unsupervised children running around upstairs on the track. It’s very high up and I saw two youths trying to push each other it was scary if something happens it will be a travesty. I told someone at the desk but they told me just not to come on Saturdays during the games. I have grandkids and I know they get excited but, rules are rules. I hope this is at least taken seriously..

Wow, what a beautiful complex! Tennis, baseball, indoor basketball and fitness room and plenty of parking. The Lake Chatuge views are spectacular!!!

The gyms are great. While the floors may get wet sometimes from the humidity (especially in the summer), it's overall a nice gym. The track is easily accessible and the conference room is always kept clean. My only complaint is the age of most of the equipment. While they have recently added some equipment, the majority of the equipment is older. It still functions but doesn't feel as effective and clean because of it.

This Center is a great place to workout for anyone who is looking to stay fit in a very friendly environment. Kudos to the staff especially “Annette” who is always hospitable, kind and a delight to deal with ?

Made in Georgia festival was awesome! Drove 3 hours to attend and plan to make it an annual event. Rec center was easy to find with GPS, close to main road, and well marked signage along the way. Lots of parking and beautiful view of Lake Charuge and the mountains! Very clean building, clean restroom with a lot of stalls, a walking track upstairs. Event attended was well organized and everyone very friendly and welcoming.

Free for Towns County Residents. Guests welcome for a small fee. Great location with lake and mountain views. Well equipped weight room and pretty decent track. Basketball courts and public rooms. Nice facility. Yoga Class moved to Senior Center. Could offer more classes, including dance.
