Worth the drive from Athens! Great selection, fair prices, and tons of vintage knowledge. I traded in a bunch of old games and it was quick, easy, and way better than standard trade in / cash prices. Lots of cool details in the shop with vintage boxes, signage, and a nostalgic vibe.

Found an amazing gem hidden in a small town just north east of Athens. Found a childhood classic in mint condition and several others. This is a must stop for anyone that loves retro console. It’s worth the drive!

The retro store to beat all retro stores. An amazing collection of games from just about every main gaming console there is. They had Dreamcast games, and I have the hardest time even finding a Dreamcast game. Not only did they have a great selection of consoles, but they also had good prices, all are either similar to better than prices from GameStop. Not to mention you can easily save money when using cash, Venmo or cash app. And in my experience, I received a game that had multiple discs included, but was unfortunately missing a disc, when telling the owner the issue, they made an order and are sending me the replacement in the mail with no extra charge. So, not only are you most likely gonna find a couple games to add to your collection for a good price, you will also have an easy process to get any mistakes or technical difficulties solved as this place also does repairs! If you need a console fixed or a save battery replaced, this is the place to go!

Had an awesome experience at this store! Had some really bad storms recently and the next morning my Playstation 5 was dead to the world… no lights no sounds no effort to even try to turn on… I had driven past this store almost every day home from work and decided to stop and see if they could help. James was super nice and knowledgeable and with his help was able to have it running like new in only a couple of days. Really made my day and saved me a lot of stress! Will definitely recommend this store to anyone having problems with their consoles. It is also well worth checking out regardless as they have a LOT of the awesome older games and goodies to appreciate here. Cheers!!!

I recently visited James' game store and had an awesome experience!
James is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about games and collecting in general. The atmosphere is welcoming, making it a great place to hang out. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for quality games and excellent service. Five stars all day 😀
