One of most colorful and beautiful designed Indian restaurants on the coast. Their Tandoori momos were so delicious, Chicken dhaba curry and mango cheesecake were just ok. I really want to come back and try more dishes though.

Both the food and service are excellent. The restaurant has always been clean, the food tasty, the staff friendly, and is overall a 5 star experience for sure.
Nevis has been our server more than once and has given some excellent menu suggestions as well as service.

Holi is our very favorite Indian restaurant! Tonight‘s “Cheese Butter Masala” w/chicken was to die for!! Outrageously delicious! We love their food with a spice level of 4 which really enhances the flavors in any of their dishes. My apologies, but this photo was taken after eating our first serving of the entrée. Couldn’t wait to get started! Chili garlic naan was a wonderful addition to the meal! If you’ve never tried it, you’ve got to!! ?

The new location on 23rd is really nice. Dimly lit for a cool ambiance, good for a date night. The food was very filling, most likely you will need to-go boxes. The naan is always my favorite so I highly recommend you add some for whatever main dish you order. My spice tolerance is limited so even a 1 is a bit much for me, but it helps they offer rice on the side. My only complaint was the lack of attentive service on a pretty slow night. Refills are a must for the spicy foods but we never got any, until we asked.

We recently dined at this restaurant, expecting a flavorful Indian meal, but it turned out to be a complete disaster. The biryani, which should have been aromatic and bursting with spices, was completely bland and lifeless. It tasted more like plain rice with no distinct flavors or effort put into it. The chicken 65, another popular Indian dish, was equally disappointing. It lacked the crispy texture and tangy, spicy taste it’s known for. Instead, it was dull and unseasoned, leaving us wondering if the chef even cared about authenticity.

The dhaba curry, which we hoped would save the meal, was perhaps the biggest letdown. Instead of a rich, hearty curry full of spices and depth, it was a one-note dish overwhelmed by chili. There was no balance, no complexity—just an unpleasant, overpowering heat. It seemed like all the dishes were thrown together without any thought or care for flavor.

Adding to the frustration, the service was indifferent. When we expressed our dissatisfaction with the food, the staff appeared uninterested and made no effort to address our concerns. It felt like they were just going through the motions, with no regard for customer satisfaction.

Overall, this was hands down the worst Indian dining experience we’ve ever had. The food lacked flavor, the service was subpar, and the entire experience was disappointing from start to finish. If you’re craving authentic Indian cuisine, avoid this place at all costs.

If you haven’t tried Holi Grill in Panama City, you are missing out. This restaurant has fantastic food with so many dishes to choose from. They ask what spice level you like so they make the dishes how you like them. Excellent appetizer options. They have a full bar with plenty of seating as well. Kristy was tending bar last night when I stopped in to place my takeout order. She was super nice and made me a delicious cocktail.

Holi Moli... The food is good! I ate here on October 24th and 27th of 2023.

Frances recommended the Cheese Butter Masala and it's now one of my top 3 best Indian dishes to get. I added chicken! The Special Naan went phenomenally well with the Cheese Butter Masala. I was stuffed after eating dinner at Holi!

Of course I had to come back for seconds! I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and it didn't disappoint! Christie provided wonderful service and made sure I ordered naan to get the full Indian dining experience. I avoided eating so much of the free appetizer on my second visit, to prevent being so full.

Then I went back to the bar! Frances is an amazing bartender. I would put Frances in my top 5 bartenders in the United States. I told her I wanted a mango lassi adult beverage and what she created, with mango pulp, coconut cream and cherry syrup, did everything I imagined. She highlighted a different liquor in each drink she made: dark rum, amaretto, and coconut rum. They were delicious, kept the mango lassi taste and weren't overly sweet. Those drinks should be on the menu! Frances created cocktails on the fly for a number of guests at the bar and each person was very pleased with their drinks: German Chocolate Martini, Blueberry Cheesecake concoction, and others. I dare you to try her! Frances enjoys being a bartender and I tipped her for the amazing service.

The restaurant decor is slightly upscale and very clean. Your nose will ease any tension around going to the bathroom as you're greeted with a pleasant scent. This could definitely be a date night location and food excursion for the foodies! You will be able to talk and hear each other in the restaurant without competing with restaurant noises. The kitchen is quietly tucked away making it easy to be present in the moment.

I would eat here at least once a week if I lived in Panama City, Florida. If you have never tried Indian food, Holi is a great place to start!
