Went to Big Bass for lunch on a Sunday. Great dive bar/biker bar feel. Had live music, which was great. Loved it. We sat outside near the water. Lots of outdoor covered and uncovered seating. Small inside seating space, too. Long dock to walk on and see the small alligators who hang out around there.

Service was terrific. Super friendly, nice people. "T" was attentive, friendly, and seemed like a genuinely nice person. Thanks T!

Food was good. Catfish was good, I like a bit more breading on mine, but it was good. Fries were a unique, thicker fry potato. Great with their ranch. Lots of food options.

It's worth checking it out and grabbing a drink, appetizer, or meal. We will be back often! Loved the vibe of the place.

Came in on a Saturday at lunch time expecting to wait. Walked right in sat down and within five minutes had ordered and was enjoying some sweet tea. Food came out in 15 min and it was AMAZING! Everything was fresh and crispy fried. No way I could eat it all. This was the swamp platter and it did not disappoint. Beautiful little place amazing food and beautiful views. I would definitely recommend if you are passing through like I was.

My friend and I decided to stop here yesterday and I have to say it was a great experience. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was great and sitting by the lake we got to enjoy a great view while we talked and ate. Food was delicious as well. I highly recommend stopping here whenever you’re in the area.

Went with friends and family to sit at a packed, friendly atmosphere. Not only was the seafood priced well, delicious, and fast service, but the server was friendly, helpful, and welcoming as ever.

Pros: food is great, reasonable price, and fast service with entertainment when we went. Coleslaw was my FAVORITE as I am a picky coleslaw person, and it is peppery and flavorful. Suggestions to the owners is to offer it for sandwiches or your hotdogs!

Neutrals: menu is lengthy, but repetitive and lack luster with anything outside of fish or sides or appetizers, but each item on the menu itself has quality and and worth its price. The batter they use is great, but can be a little bland for things like the onion rings, but still beautifully soft and airy.

Cons: drinks are pricey ( my long island being 14$, my mom's being a 12$ rum runner) and are extremely strong. It's good to get messed up on, that's for sure. And the limits with some of the menu items / no substitutes/ picking and choosing sides besides the huge meal ( swamp platter) was disappointing, but I did not ask if fries can be exchanged for Mac and cheese with no cost, etc.

Overall? Amazing experience, and genuinely a good place to try. First time having good frog legs, and I hate breaded shrimp but I gave their coconut shrimp a chance and it did not disappoint.

Picture your favorite no frills, unassuming waterfront marina and bar with incredible atmosphere and throw in some of the best grouper and shrimp you’ve ever had…that is the Big Bass Grill. Cool place with GREAT people. Kim was awesome, thanks for making us feel like we were old friends.
